The room-temperature reaction between the Dipp2DAB ligand, SnCl2, and SeCl4 results in the quantitative formation of a dicationic N-heterocyclic “carbenoid”. The empirical materials that support the analysis have been ethnographically produced from the interaction with golf players and coaches.

Assessing the quality of dissolved organic matter in forest soils using ultraviolet absorption spectrophotometry

Abbreviations: DOC, dissolved organic carbon; SUVA, specifi c ultraviolet absorbance; UV, ultraviolet. Ultraviolet spectrophotometry was used to investigate the effects, 30 yr after planting, of tree species substitution on the aromatic C content and related properties of dissolved organic carbon (DOC). Precautions were taken to correct measurements for the absorbance of NO 3 and dissolved Fe. In litter leachates, a signifi cant reduction in the aromatic content of DOC was found in the Douglas-fi r [Pseudotsuga menziesii (Mirb.) Electron spectra in forbidden β decays and the quenching of the weak axial-vector coupling constant gA

Evolution of the electron spectra with the effective value of the weak axial-vector coupling constant gA was followed for 26 first-, second-, third-, fourth- and fifth-forbidden β− decays of odd-A nuclei by calculating the involved nuclear matrix elements (NMEs) in the framework of the microscopic quasiparticle-phonon model (MQPM). The next-to-leading-order terms were included in the β-decay shape factor of the electron spectra. The spectrum shapes of third- and fourth-forbidden nonunique decays were found to depend strongly on the value of gA, while first- and second-forbidden decays were mostly unaffected by the tuning of gA. summary — The modern mummies and the inner meaning of the double burial in Mediterranean cultures have long been debated. In this paper we discuss a particular “collection” of ecclesiastical bodies mummifed and displayed in a small mountain town of Sicily Gangi in the Madonie Mountains. The bodies dating back to the nineteenth century mummifed by pouring in the tradition of the time and carefully dressed in robes are exposed in the lower foor of the Chiesa Madre in what the tradition is called “fossa dei parrini” (pit of priests). The mummies unlike other Sicilian and Mediterranean sites are accompanied by commemorative sonnet and death mask made of fnish wax. The primary interest of our study was aimed specifcally at this particular manifestation of the double burial complex which lies in the representation of the face. The work expresses an examination of the concept of death mask in antiquity and leads to the conclusion that the place for its scenic values ritualization should be designed to the ostentation and the consolidation of the image of the Church and of the his power within the small rural society.Settore BIO/08 - Antropologia

The present paper aims to identify the causes of under-representation of women in E-sports. According to a genre perspective, interest in videogames at the amateur level is quite similar. However, in its professional level, female participation becomes very limited.
