In this article, we analyze a corpus made up of two general French-Italian and Italian-French bilingual dictionaries and two multilingual dictionaries. We take into account, in particular, the macrostructure, the microstructure, the technical terminology and the phraseology of these dictionaries. Using a magnifying glass metaphorically, we focus on the treatment of the specialty language of commerce within the articles of the general bilingual dictionaries. The article is based on language biographies which come from the interviews conducted as part of the German-Polish project LangGener with native inhabitants of the former German territories of today’s Poland. Out of 124 recordings, 20 linguistic biographical interviews with respondents from Upper Silesia were subjected to analysis where special attention was paid to the features of Silesian German dialects occurring in them. A partir de un corpus de documentos, en francés y en español, publicados en Internet, se procederá a la localización y reunión de términos específicos de este campo en cada una de las lenguas mencionadas; a la descripción de los distintos tipos de unidades léxicas propias de este ámbito; y la presentación de las correspondencias traductológicas entre ambas lenguas o, en su defecto, a la propuesta de equivalencias definitorias. Este trabajo constituye una aportación al estudio de la traducción técnica en el campo de la Arquitectura.

Riassunto: Nel presente lavoro viene analizzato il fenomeno del code switching in una prospettiva storico-sociale. In particolare, focalizzeremo la nostra attenzione su cinque lettere bilingui del Codice Aragonese (1458-1460), un registro cancelleresco della corte aragonese a Napoli, in cui si passa dal catalano o dal castigliano al napoletano e viceversa. Analizzando il contesto storico e sociale nel quale le lettere sono state scritte, proveremo a trarre delle conclusioni sulle motivazioni per cui si è realizzato il rispettivo cambio di codice linguistico.
