In recent decades, important urban regeneration processes are changing the appearance of cities. The modern city, characterized by the spaces of industrial production, now renews its disused areas by introducing fast mobility systems, communication networks and mixed-use social spaces. It is a phenomenon in progress that renews the image of the contemporary city and allows its inhabitants to experiment with new styles of life.

There currently the recovery and the enhancement of public space in the city is being attempted, and specifically of those urban areas which have long suffered very strong exploitation pressure by private interests as a result of tourism.

Bakalaura darba tēma ir semantiskās telpas un robežas attēlošana Žana Bodrijāra esejā „Amerika”, kas balstās uz semiotiķa Jurija Lotmaņa sižeta teorijas. Lai sekmīgi veiktu izpēti, tika izvirzīts mērķis, izmeklēt un izanalizēt semantisko telpu tekstā, to attēlot un starp to noteikt robežu. Galvenā darba sastāvdaļa ir analīze, kas ar Lotmaņa teorijas palīdzību ļauj izanalizēt sižeta veidošanās pamatprincipus un trīs jomas, kuras nosaka semantisko lauku. Il saggio analizza l’uso e il significato della violenza in Cosa Nostra dentro un quadro teorico più ampio che consente di coglierne le cornici concettuali e le ricche declinazioni fenomenologiche. Partendo dagli studi dei costruttivisti e dei post-strutturalisti, pone al centro della riflessione il rapporto tra violenza e potere (Weber, Popitz, Arendt), il tema della legittimazione discorsiva della violenza (Benjamin, Derrida), il suo legame con la corporeità (la biopolitica, di cui parla Foucault) e il suo radicamento nella sfera del simbolico e dello “spazio sociale” (Bourdieu), la dimensione speculare e “spettacolare” della violenza esibita (Ruggiero). Retorica dello spazio: il caso della street art

La street art è un fenomeno capillare che si dispiega negli spazi urbani con stili e forme diverse. L’intervento prende in esame alcune operazioni artistiche analizzando le strategie retoriche utilizzate. Ricorrendo a diversi regimi di visibilità e utilizzando l’apostrofe, l’iperbole o ancora il camouflage gli artisti creano narrazioni imprevedibili e sollecitano continuamente l’attenzione del fruitore. Gli interventi di street art possono così considerarsi come campi di manovra che instaurano nello spazio urbano conflitti, sfide o complicità con i fruitori e in tal senso si rivela opportuno soffermarsi sui casi di riscrittura o di cancellazione delle opere.

AbstractWe study the action of the elements of the mapping class group of a surface of finite type on the Teichmüller space of that surface equipped with Thurston's asymmetric metric. We classify such actions as elliptic, parabolic, hyperbolic and pseudo-hyperbolic, depending on whether the translation distance of such an element is zero or positive and whether the value of this translation distance is attained or not, and we relate these four types to Thurston's classification of mapping class elements. Overexploitation of forests to increase wood production has led to the replacement of native forest by large areas of monospecific tree plantations. In the present study, the effects of different monospecific tree cover plantations on density and composition of the indigenous soil microbial community are described. The experimental site of "Breuil-Chenue" in the Morvan (France) was the site of a comparison of a similar mineral soil under Norway spruce (Picea abies), Douglas fir (Pseudotuga menziesii), oak (Quercus sessiflora), and native forest [mixed stand dominated by oak and beech (Fagus sylvatica)].
