In a pond receiving warmed cooling waters from a thermal power plant, the physical and chemical properties of the water, phytoplankton, periphyton and zooplankton were monitored on a weekly sampling schedule. In winter the phytoplankton growth was limited by poor light conditions. In mid-February a rapid phytoplankton growth started, simultaneously with increasing light energy, high nutrient concentrations and small herbivorous zooplankton populations. The increase of phytoplankton biomass was stopped by lack of free nutrients and silica at the end of March. Seasonal succession of the phytoplankton was studied with shortinterval sampling in an eutrophic pond warmed during winter months by a small thermal power plant in central Finland since Octover 1978. Simultaneously with phytoplankton, also physical and chemical properties of water and zooplankton were studied.

The advent of triple therapy (TT) with first-generation protease inhibitors boceprevir (BOC) and telaprevir (TVR) in addition to pegylated interferon and ribavirin resulted in a significant gain in terms of sustained virological response (SVR) when treating naive or previous treated patients with genotype 1 (G1) chronic hepatitis C (CHC). Abstract A decade after the beginning of the Great Recession, flow external imbalances, measured by the current account (CA) have narrowed markedly. However, stock or net foreign assets (NFA) imbalances have kept increasing and have created challenges for future macroeconomic and financial stability. To date, early warning systems (scoreboards) have focused more on flow than on stock variables. To approach this problem, in this paper we analyze expansions using two complementary sets of indicators proposed by Harding and Pagan (2002) and Gadea et al. (2017) for the period 1950–2016. Este texto aborda el proyecto migratorio y las trayectorias laborales de mujeres latinoamericanas que trabajan como cuidadoras en el ámbito doméstico en el Área Metropolitana de Valencia. A partir del uso de una metodología cualitativa se llega a varias conclusiones: existe una explicación multicausal de los proyectos migratorios, predominando los de carácter económico/laboral, y, en segundo lugar, sus trayectorias laborales se caracterizan por el mantenimiento en las mismas ocupaciones con ligeros cambios, o con modificaciones en sectores muy concretos.
