This thesis is about the control and characterisation of the alignment and orientation of molecules by ultra short laser pulses on a theoretical and experimental approach. Alignment corresponds to a symmetric angular distribution of the molecular axis peaked along the laser field axis, whereas orientation provides an asymmetric distribution favouring one spatial direction. Orientation by sudden two-colour (2+1) pulses is studied extensively for the non resonant case and conditions required for achieving significant orientation are explored. A second two-colour scheme, where the second harmonic is in quasi resonance with a vibrational level of the molecule, is also presented and discussed. T…

L'acacia au Sénégal

La biodiversité des Glomales associés à #Acacia albida$ est étudiée en fonction de l'âge de l'arbre, des saisons et des propriétés physicochimiques du sol. Les Glomales sont récoltées jusqu'à 1,5 et 4,5 m dans les régions soudano-guinéennes et jusqu'à 16 et 35 m dans les régions sahéliennes. La culture in vitro de la forme intraracinaire des Glomales en présence de racines isolées a montré une diversité morphologique des souches. En complément à cette taxonomie morphologique, des marqueurs moléculaires ont permis d'étudier la variabilité génétique des Glomales en comparant les variations de séquences d'ADN extrait de spores et de fragments mycorhiziens. Em um caderno de 6 fólios, um deles hoje desaparecido, de pequeno formato (170 x 250 mm), em torno de 1076-1077, os cônegos regulares da abadia de Saint-Martin-des-Champs compuseram uma obra, conservada atualmente na British Library (Add 11662, f. 4r-8r), que reúne em torno de três atos diplomáticos, uma narrativa em versos e em imagens. Fluctuations in intracellular (Ca2+) calcium levels generate signaling events and regulate different cellular processes. Whilst the implication of Ca2+ in plant cell responses during arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM) interactions is well documented, nothing is known about the regulation or role of this secondary meesenger in the fungal symbiont. The molecular basis of fungal calcium homeostasis in the AM symbiosis was analyzed by investigating the expression of Ca2+-related fungal genes.
