This thesis is about the control and characterisation of the alignment and orientation of molecules by ultra short laser pulses on a theoretical and experimental approach. Alignment corresponds to a symmetric angular distribution of the molecular axis peaked along the laser field axis, whereas orientation provides an asymmetric distribution favouring one spatial direction. Orientation by sudden two-colour (2+1) pulses is studied extensively for the non resonant case and conditions required for achieving significant orientation are explored. A second two-colour scheme, where the second harmonic is in quasi resonance with a vibrational level of the molecule, is also presented and discussed. T…

Within the quick nano-fabrication techniques evolution and the increasing needs in low space and energy opto-electronic functions on-chip integration, studies and control of electromagnetic resonances of sub-micrometric objects are crucial issues. La biodiversité des Glomales associés à #Acacia albida$ est étudiée en fonction de l'âge de l'arbre, des saisons et des propriétés physicochimiques du sol. Les Glomales sont récoltées jusqu'à 1,5 et 4,5 m dans les régions soudano-guinéennes et jusqu'à 16 et 35 m dans les régions sahéliennes. La culture in vitro de la forme intraracinaire des Glomales en présence de racines isolées a montré une diversité morphologique des souches. En complément à cette taxonomie morphologique, des marqueurs moléculaires ont permis d'étudier la variabilité génétique des Glomales en comparant les variations de séquences d'ADN extrait de spores et de fragments mycorhiziens. Fluctuations in intracellular (Ca2+) calcium levels generate signaling events and regulate different cellular processes. Whilst the implication of Ca2+ in plant cell responses during arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM) interactions is well documented, nothing is known about the regulation or role of this secondary meesenger in the fungal symbiont. The molecular basis of fungal calcium homeostasis in the AM symbiosis was analyzed by investigating the expression of Ca2+-related fungal genes. <p style="text-align: justify;">Plusieurs accidents appelés « goûts de lumière » ou « goûts de réduit » ont été observés dans les vins de champagne au cours de ces dernières années. Dans ce travail, nous avons mis au point une méthode d'appréciation de ces goûts par dosage des groupements thiols ou mercaptans dans les vins.
