Longitudinal Changes in Suicide Bereavement Experiences : A Qualitative Study of Family Members over 18 Months after Loss

Family members bereaved by their loved ones’ suicidal death normally undergo a complicated and lengthy bereavement process. In this qualitative case study, we explored longitudinal changes in the suicide bereavement process by applying assimilation analysis, based on the Assimilation Model (AM) and the Assimilation of Problematic Experiences Scale (APES), to longitudinal interview data collected from two Chinese suicide-bereaved individuals within the first 18 months after their loss. The subject of the reflections set out in this article are the issues relating to the subjectivity of a teacher and his competence in the face of civilizing changes. As the title suggests, the study deals with the diversified division of competences both of contemporary man and the teacher. Professional training of educators should include both a grounding in theory and assertions on the subject of man’s development, processes of “finding one’s place” naturally in the world, process educating man with a defined goal (education and upbringing) and processes of his socialization (collectivisation - full time employment - nationalization - politicization - globalization).

Un bassin extensif formé pendant la fonte de la calotte glaciaire hirnantienne : le bassin ordovico-silurien de Kandi (Nord Bénin, Sud Niger)

Le long de la bordure occidentale du bassin de Kandi, la sédimentation détritique continentale de base, correspondant à la formation de Wéré, est préservée dans des paléovallées limitées par des failles d'orientation moyenne N20°E, héritées de l'orogenèse panafricaine. Le remplissage sédimentaire de ces paléovallées est représenté par des dépôts conglomératiques et bréchiques de tills glaciaires marquant la base de la série, évoluant verticalement et latéralement vers l'Est à des grès fluviatiles. Ces dépôts continentaux, d'âge supposé ordovicien supérieur, passent verticalement à des grès tidaux et des grès et siltites subtidaux de la Formation de Kandi, d'âge ordovicien terminal à silurie…

A better understanding of the remodeling process of postextraction sockets is essential in dental treatment planning. The aim of this study was to evaluate whether confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) can be applied to imaging contour changes of postextraction sites, as well as to its quantification with image analysis of obtained three-dimensional images. Taustalla vaikuttavat työmarkkinoiden palveluvaltaisuus ja korkea työvoiman osaamistaso, mutta myös erilaiset institutionaaliset tekijät, kuten työmarkkinoiden sääntely, ammattiyhdistysliikkeen asema ja sosiaalipoliittiset ratkaisut. Työelämän laatu voi kuitenkin heikentyä, kun näitä ankkureita kierretään tai kun ne eivät tavoita kaikkien alojen työntekijöitä.
