Electrospray Ionization Mass Spectrometry Studies on the Mechanism of Hydrosilylation of Terminal Alkynes Using an N-Heterocyclic Carbene Complex of …
2006
A new pyridine-4,5-dichloroimidazol-2-ylidene complex of Ir(I) has been obtained, and its catalytic activity toward hydrosilylation of phenylacetylene and 4-aminophenylacetylene has been studied. T...
Iron oxide/oleic acid magnetic nanoparticles possessing biologically active choline derivatives
2018
Abstract In recent years, synthetic magnetic nanoparticles have made a major contribution to biomedicine. Interest in iron oxide magnetic nanoparticles conditioned by the fact that they are nontoxic, and possess the unique opportunity to deliver medicines to certain organs by external magnetic field. We have developed a synthetic procedure, which is based on binding of the first biologically active substance with the magnetic core, and subsequent immobilization of another biologically active substance (ligand) on the modified surface of nanoparticles thus creating plasma membrane-like structures. Using the proposed methodology, we have obtained new nontoxic magnetic nanoparticles, functiona…

Host molecules containing electroactive cavities obtained by the molecular assembly of redox-active ligands and metal ions
1995
Self-assembly processes of nickel ions with the redox-active ligand 1,4,8,11-tetra(ferrocenylmethyl)-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane (Fc4cyclam) induces the formation of a redox-active cavity of potential use in electrocatalysis.
Structurally simple complexes of CO2
2015
The ability to bind CO2 through the formation of low-energy, easily-broken, bonds could prove invaluable in a variety of chemical contexts. For example, weak bonds to CO2 would greatly decrease the cost of the energy-intensive sorbent-regeneration step common to most carbon capture technologies. Furthermore, exploration of this field could lead to the discovery of novel CO2 chemistry. Reduction of complexed carbon dioxide might generate chemical feedstocks for the preparation of value-added products, particularly transportation fuels or fuel precursors. Implementation on a large scale could help to drastically reduce CO2 concentrations in the atmosphere. However, literature examples of weak…
Rational linkage of magnetic molecules using click chemistry
2015
Established CuAAC click reactions are used for the first time to assemble magnetic molecules to an extended molecular arrangement. This novel synthetic approach is expected to be a general approach to link SMMs as an important precondition to realize quantum computing.
Structure and stability of hexadentate complexes of ligands based on AAZTA for efficient PET labelling with gallium-68
2012
Pre-organised tricarboxylate ligands based on 6-amino-perhydro-1,4-diazepine bind (68)Ga rapidly and selectively in acetate buffer at pH 4 to 7, forming kinetically stable complexes suitable for use in PET imaging.
