Spatial risks and complex systems :methodological perspectives

2007

Cette publication est en ligne à l'adresse suivante : http://www-lih.univ-lehavre.fr/~bertelle/epnacs2007-proceedings/daude4epnacs07.pdf; International audience; The reflections regarding risk and industrial catastrophes questionthe complexity theories. Besides the new concepts which lead us to questionolder concepts (risk, hazard and vulnerability), we propose to think aboutmore practical aspects, for example the modelling of human behaviour andthe confrontation in crisis situations. The link between concepts as: criticalself-organization, emergence, bifurcation, and the methods in the DistributedArtificial Intelligence used to model them is however difficult. In this paper,we present ongo…

De l'intelligence territoriale. Théorie, posture, hypothèses, définitions

2006

In this article, our goal is to present characteristics of what we call territorial intelligence as a theory, attitude, and ascending step of collective intelligence based on citizen approach of territorial valorization. And the capacity (or the incapacity) of the actors Co-to write the scenario of their future within a widened framework, the U.E, in connection with local dimension. Vision of the territory lived and the urban context is upset. Any kind of local actors, from citizens to business men through political, are facing to the jamming of territories and space references, which results from mobility, immateriality. Invisible and virtual space takes an increasing weight and, on the sa…

Territories and governance, a research-action actor's point of view

2010

International audience; Once repositioned four different experiences in relation to issues of governance, in a first step, we shall come back very briefly on our initial and very traditional approach of the governance and of the relationships between actors. Then, drawing on the four axes of analysis suggested by A. Dauphine, presenting different situations encountered, we will propose an other way we used to better understand governance by and for observation a complex system: the territory.

Numerical Optimization of Liner Impedance in Acoustic Duct

2020

Abstract The SALUTE project aims at evaluating performance of metacomposites for acoustic smart lining in grazing turbulent flow. Theoretical and numerical investigations are carried out for designing innovative specimen. A specific focus is placed in the realization of prototypes for evaluating the metacomposite liner performances in 2D and 3D liners, its process complexity and robustness. The insight gain in this project is new tools for obtaining innovative samples; the acoustical experimental tests demonstrate efficiency and robustness of such technology for controlling UHBR noise emission. This paper is focused on parametric study based on the maximization of the absorption coefficient…

Statistical Regularities in ATM: network properties, trajectory deviations and delays

2012

One of the key enabler to the productivity and efficiency shift foreseen by SESAR will be the business-trajectory concept. The path to a deep understanding of how this new concept impacts on the future SESAR Air Traffic Management scenario goes through a better understanding of the actual air traffic network, and this will be done in the present paper by analyzing traffic data within the framework of complex network analysis. In this paper we will consider flights trajectory data from the Data Demand Repository database. In a first investigation, we perform a network study of the air traffic infrastructure starting from the airports and then refining our analysis at the level of navigation …
