A D’Agostino nos referiremos en el primer apartado y a Morgan en el segundo. Shapiro works out a version of legal positivism taking as its starting point Hart’s practice theory of law. Some serious limits of Hart’s practice theory of norms concern the conception of legal obligation and normativity of law. In this paper I analyze the limits of Hart’s conception of legal normativity and I appraise whether the planning theory of law indicates the correct direction for overcoming them. To anticipate the conclusion, my effort is to show that Shapiro replicates Hart’s mistakes on this subject-matters. The paper is divided in three main sections. In medieval Sicily abbesses had a strong spiritual and temporal power and many of them belonged to noble families. They ran the convents, guided and protected the nuns, and commissioned works of art. In the pictures abbesses were portrayed with nuns, but double in size to underline their leadership. Convents were troubled by disputes and clashes between dissident nuns and abbesses. Moreover, abbesses could not avoid dynastic logics and family power games that affected their life and limited their action.

The 2008 financial crisis has changed the structure of banking, generating public distrust in the conventional financial system. An alternative has emerged as a result of this lack of confidence. This alternative is known as ethical banking. A growing number of investors, asset managers, and financial intermediaries have incorporated sustainability considerations into their business practices. Historically, petroleum fuels have been the dominant fuel used for land transport. However, the growing need for sustainable national economics has urged us to incorporate more economical and ecological alternative vehicle fuels. The advantages and disadvantages of them complicate the decision-making process and compel us to develop adequate mathematical methods. Alternative fuel (compressed natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, and ethanol fuel mixtures), the standard prices and their ratios were investigated. Fondato nel quartiere Villanova di Cagliari da domenicani pisani nella seconda metà del XIII secolo, il convento di San Domenico raggiunse la sua massima espansione nel XVI secolo in seguito ad ambiziosi programmi edilizi messi in atto sotto l'impulso dei re aragonesi. Ricostruire tali vicende oggi risulta particolarmente difficile a causa della dispersione dei documenti e della distruzione di una porzione considerevole della fabbrica. L'articolo dunque si ripropone di ripercorrere la storia del convento facendo diretto riferimento a recenti acquisizioni documentali e sulla scorta delle informazioni contenute in alcune cronache domenicane del XVII e del XVIII secolo, nel tentativo di apport…
