Bakalaura darba temats: Pacientu līdzestība pēc ceļu locītavu endoprotezēšanas agrīnā pēcoperācijas periodā. Latvijā ik gadu tiek veiktas ap 2000 ceļa locītavas endoprotezēšanas operāciju, no kurām 10% ir iespējami sarežģījumi. Daļa no šiem sarežģījumiem varētu nebūt un neradīt nepieciešamību veikt revīzijas operācijas, ja pacientiem būtu augsta līdzestība, kas pamato nepieciešamību analizēt pacientu līdzestību. Tās izplatība pieaug līdz ar iedzīvotāju vecumu un mūsdienu dzīvesveida paradumiem, tādiem kā, nesabalansēts, neregulārs uzturs un mazkustīgs dzīvesveids. Šis bakalaura darbs tika izveidots ar mērķi - noskaidrot iedzīvotāju zināšanas par žultsakmeņu slimības attīstību veicinošajiem faktoriem un profilaksi. Here, the synthesis of two graft copolymers based on α,β-poly(N-2-hydroxyethyl)-D,L-aspartamide (PHEA) and poly(lactic acid) (PLA), the O-(2-aminoethyl)-O′-galactosyl polyethylene glycol (GAL-PEG-NH2) or the methoxypolyethylene glycol amine (H2N-PEG-OCH3) is described. Abstract The spectrophotometric and thermodynamic properties of molecular complexes of flavine adenine dinucleotide (FAD) with some dihydro β-carboline derivatives have been investigated in aqueous solution. The molecular associations have been examined by means of electronic absorption spectra, since in each a new charge-transfer band has been located, and also the variation of the fluorescence emission of FAD on the solutions has been observed. Astmai un hroniskai obstruktīvai plaušu slimībai (HOPS) ir liela socio-ekonomiska ietekme uz sabiedrīebu un tās ir vienas no galvenajiem saslimstības un mirstības cēloņiem pasaulē. Šo obstruktīvo plaušu slimību ārstēšana balstās uz β2-agonistu un citu zāļu bronhodilatatora iedarbību. Lai salīdzinātu ilgstošas-darbības β2-agonista olodaterola bronhodilatācijas efektu ar īslaicīgas-darbības β2-agonistu salbutamolu tika veikts atklāto pārbaužu eksperimentāls pētījums, kurā piedalījās 10 pacienti ar HOPS vai astmu, un tika noteikts abu zāļu bronhodilatācijas efekts, izmantojot FEV1 kā galveno parametru. Summary Background In patients with COPD, exacerbations are associated with poor quality of life and may shorten survival. Stable carbon and oxygen isotope fractionation in bivalve (Placopecten magellanicus) larval aragonite

Abstract The relationship between stable isotope composition (δ13C and δ18O) in seawater and in larval shell aragonite of the sea scallop, Placopecten magellanicus, was investigated in a controlled experiment to determine whether isotopes in larval shell aragonite can be used as a reliable proxy for environmental conditions.
