Partial Discharges analysis and parameters identification by continuous Ant Colony Optimization

The technique of ant colony optimization has been employed in this paper to efficiently deal with the problem of parameters identification in partial discharge, PD, analysis. The latter is a continuous optimization problem. From the technical point of view the identification of these parameters allows the modeling of the phenomenon of Partial Discharges in dielectrics. A Non-Stationary MIMO Vehicle-to-Vehicle Channel Model Derived from the Geometrical Street Model

In this paper, we derive a non-stationary multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) channel model from the geometrical street model. Single-bounce scattering is assumed for both fixed and moving scatterers. The high mobility of the transmitter, the receiver, and the surrounding vehicles results in time-variant angles-of-departure (AODs) and angles-of-arrival (AOAs). Fractional generalized cumulative entropy and its dynamic version

Following the theory of information measures based on the cumulative distribution function, we propose the fractional generalized cumulative entropy, and its dynamic version. These entropies are particularly suitable to deal with distributions satisfying the proportional reversed hazard model. We study the connection with fractional integrals, and some bounds and comparisons based on stochastic orderings, that allow to show that the proposed measure is actually a variability measure. In this paper, the outage statistics are studied for non-isotropic Beckmann fading channel model. Non-isotropic scattering generally results in an asymmetrical Doppler power spectral density (PSD).
