La presente tesis doctoral está centrada en el análisis de las identidades de la mujer contemporánea representadas en el discurso de las ediciones española y estadounidense de la revista Cosmopolitan. Esta investigación permite reflexionar sobre el concepto de identidad (Bauman, 2005, Lipovetsky, 2016), principalmente la identidad de la mujer en los contextos socioculturales de España y Estados Unidos (Butler, 1990; Giddens, 1995; Hinojosa, 2005). En este estudio se analiza el concepto de nación española por medio de los textos constitucionales decimonónicos y los debates que se desarrollaron entorno a su redacción en las sesiones plenarias de las Cortes. De este modo, se pretende arrojar luz sobre la comprensión del concepto de nación como idea no sólo metajurídica sino también jurídica. Photoluminescent Detection of Human T-Lymphoblastic Cells by ZnO Nanorods.

The precise detection of cancer cells currently remains a global challenge. One-dimensional (1D) semiconductor nanostructures (e.g., ZnO nanorods) have attracted attention due to their potential use in cancer biosensors. In the current study, it was demonstrated that the possibility of a photoluminescent detection of human leukemic T-cells by using a zinc oxide nanorods (ZnO NRs) platform. Monoclonal antibodies (MABs) anti-CD5 against a cluster of differentiation (CD) proteins on the pathologic cell surface have been used as a bioselective layer on the ZnO surface. The title compound, C15H16O2, crystallizes with three independent mol­ecules in the asymmetric unit. The intra­molecular torsion angle between the aromatic rings of each mol­ecule are −36.4 (3), 41.3 (3) and −37.8 (3)°. In the crystal, the complicated packing of the mol­ecules forms wave-like layers along the b and c axes. The mol­ecules are connected via extensive meth­oxy–phenyl C—H…π inter­actions. A weak C—H…O hydrogen-bonding network also exists between meth­oxy O atoms and aromatic or meth­oxy H atoms.
