Sekundāro metabolītu izdalīšana no sūkļa Smenospongia aurea

Darba mērķis bija jaunu sekundāro metabolītu izolēšana no sūkļa Smenospongia aurea un to ķīmiskās struktūras noteikšana. Tomēr, uzsākot darbu, nolēmām izdalīt oriģinālus, neribosomālus hibrīdu peptīdu/poliketīdu savienojumus – smenamīdu A, smenamīdu B, smenotiazolu A un smenotiazolu B –, kas jau iepriekš izdalīti no S. aurea sūkļa un kam noteikta augsta citotoksiska aktivitāte. Interesējošos savienojumus izdalījām no lipofīla sūkļa S. aurea ekstrakta, izmantojot augsti efektīvo šķidrumu hromatogrāfijas (AEŠH) metodi, to ķīmisko struktūru noteicām ar augstas izšķirtspējas masspektrometrijas (ESI/MS), 1H kodolu magnētiskās rezonanses (KMR) un 13C KMR metodēm, un iegūtos datus salīdzinājām ar …

The article argues ?from the Deleuzian concepts of society of control, moulding and modulation and the Rosean theory on the economization and medicalization of life? that the expansion of the concept of health in terms of integral and subjective well-being is the effect of a socio-historical shift in the way we relate to this signifier, and therefore to our bodies and ourselves. Varas attiecības un medikalizācijas diskurss augļa tūpļa guļas dzemdību veida izvēles procesā

Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kādas ir varas attiecības starp iesaistītām pusēm lēmuma pieņemšanas procesā par tūpļa guļas dzemdību veidu un kādi diskursi ietekmē galīgo lēmumu. Pētījuma veikšanas pamatā ir maldinošais priekšstats, ka ir nepieciešama ķeizargrieziena operācija, neņemot vērā, ka katrs dzemdību gadījums ir individuāls. Augļa tūpļa guļu joprojām mēdz uzskatīt par patoloģiju, kas savukārt veicina speciālistu varas pieaugumu par dzemdību veida izvēli, veicinot medikalizāciju. Skolu izglītības zinātnē pastāv pieņēmums, ka skolotāji ir pārmaiņu aģenti, kas spēj ieviest uzlabojumus skolēnu mācīšanās procesā. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt dabaszinātņu un matemātikas skolotāju-līderu kā aģentu darbību un tās aspektus inovatīvu mācību metožu difūzijas procesā, kurā tie nodod inovācijas citiem skolotājiem. Lai sasniegtu darba mērķi un atbildētu uz pētnieciskajiem jautājumiem, tika pielietota kvalitatīvā pētniecības metodoloģija. Darba rezultātu analīze sniedz aprakstošu skaidrojumu tam, kā skolotāji-līderi veicina sociālo inovāciju difūziju, ar kādiem šķēršļiem tie saskaras un kādas aģentu grupas ir iesaistītas šajā procesā. Poly (lactic acid)/D-limonene/ZnO bio-nanocomposites with antimicrobial properties

[EN] Antimicrobial films of poly (lactic acid) (PLA)/D-limonene/zinc oxide (ZnO)-based bio-nanocomposites were prepared via melt compounding and subsequent thermocompression. D-limonene was incorporated at concentrations of 10 or 20 wt%, and ZnO pure nanoparticles and those organically modified with oleic acid (O-ZnO), with an average diameter of 13.5 nm, were included at concentrations of 3, 5, and 8 wt%. The plasticizing effect of D-Limonene was corroborated by a decrease in the glass transition temperature compared to pure PLA. Increasing concern about global warming and air quality has meant an increasing use of energetic and environmental indicators in roundabout design. The main objective of this paper is to compare different rural roundabouts in terms of traffic performance, pollutant and noise emissions through an integrated empirical assessment.
