Implementing a culture of data in franchise systems : the ingredients for success

The purpose of our research is to improve the understanding of the factors that explain the development of exchange relationships and facilitate the customer data management in franchise Systems. To this end, a literature review was conducted in the field of relationship marketing, and particulary, in relation to Bagozzi's theory of exchange (1974; 1975). Through its lexical and thematic analyses, the qualitative study highlights the principle of reciprocity in exchange in franchisor-franchisee-customer relationships with regard to customer data management. Reciprocity seems to be at the core of exchanges between the franchisor, franchisees and their customers.

The treatment of high-grade carotid stenosis is surgery combined with best medical treatment. We established since 2003, a prospective database including all patients hospitalized in our vascular surgery department for management of carotid stenosis. Since 2012, the clinical database was completed for the establishment of a biological database. Graph-based Manifold Learning algorithms are regarded as a powerful technique for feature extraction and dimensionality reduction in Pattern Recogniton, Computer Vision and Machine Learning fields. These algorithms utilize sample information contained in the item-item similarity and weighted matrix to reveal the intrinstic geometric structure of manifold. It exhibits the low dimensional structure in the high dimensional data. This papaer shed light on the supposed composition of an alternative version, now lost, of the adagio "Anch'io dischiuso un giorno" of Abigaille's aria in the secondo act of Nabucco by Verdi. We can hypothesise that the piece in question was actually composed by Verdi for Giuseppina Strepponi, and that it was subsequently transformed by the composer into the French-language chamber song "L'abandonnée", published in 1849.
