Digoxin-related leukocytoclastic vasculitis in a very elderly woman: A case report

International audience; Even though digoxin causes many side effects, few cases of skin involvement are recorded in the French Pharmacovigilance Database. We report a case of leukocytoclastic vasculitis (LV) very probably due to digoxin. A 91-year-old woman, hospitalized following a fall, presented cardiac decompensation in a context of rapid atrial fibrillation requiring treatment with digoxin. Eight days later, a rash appeared on her back and trunk. It was neither itchy, nor painful and persisted despite local treatment. There were no other clinical anomalies. Alignment of linear molecules is efficiently induced by strong linearly polarized laser pulses. In the case of short pulses with respect to molecular rotation, periodic alignment appears in field-free conditions after the extinction of the field. This manuscript presents three techniques where the value of allows to quantify alignment without molecular dissociation nor additional alignment. They use a weak time-delayed probe pulse which experiences the optical properties of an aligned sample and shows modification of its characteristics. The current study deals with the representation of hospital hygiene. The purpose is twofold: 1- to understand how knowledge about hygiene is acquired by nursing staff during their training (effect of the level of knowledge); 2- to identify how this knowledge evolves while practising a job in direct connection with hygiene (effect of practice). Three groups of participants were questioned: nursing staff (nursing executives, nurses and nursing auxiliaries), students training in nursing care (first, second and third year students) and non-specialist students. L’istituto della trascrizione tardiva consente ai cattolici che hanno celebrato le nozze con il solo rito religioso di recuperare successivamente a loro richiesta gli effetti civili del matrimonio, con decorrenza dalla data della celebrazione religiosa. E’ comprensibile come nella pratica questa particolare agevolazione, di cui godono solo i fedeli della Chiesa cattolica, si presti anche a delle distorsioni, e spesso il differimento degli effetti civili del matrimonio è dovuto proprio ad un calcolo preciso dei nubendi che sul momento non vogliono rinunciare a dei vantaggi economici ( pensione di reversibilità, assegno divorzile) che verrebbero a cessare con la rilevanza civile del matrimoni…
