Nanocapsules are an excellent platform for the delivery of macromolecular payloads such as proteins, nucleic acids or polyprodrugs, since they can both protect the sensitive cargo and target its delivery to the desired site of action. However, the release of macromolecules from nanocapsules remains a challenge due to their restricted diffusion through the nanoshell compared to small molecule cargo. Here, we designed degradable protein nanocapsules with varying crosslinking densities of the nanoshell to control the release of model macromolecules. Este artículo examina cómo Páez de Ribera reconduce caminos ya hollados en el Amadís o las Sergas hacia lo religioso. La magia o la maravilla no desaparecen en el Florisando sino que se subliman y hacen trascendentes por el camino de los sufragios, penitencias y homilías propiciatorias. Amadís y su corte han quedado encantados por Urganda en los últimos capítulos de las Sergas. Páez de Ribera convierte este encantamiento en un purgatorio del que se sale no recurriendo a conjuros y otras ceremonias profanas, sino por la oración, la taumaturgia y la advocación milagrosa. Su postura no es pionera en la época.
Exciton recombination dynamics inInAs∕InPself-assembled quantum wires

In this work we investigate the exciton recombination dynamics in InAs/ InP semiconductor self-assembled quantum wires, by means of continuous wave and time resolved photoluminescence. The continuous wave photoluminescence results seem to indicate that the temperature quenching of the emission band seems to be more probably due to unipolar thermal escape of electrons towards the InP barrier.
