AbstractIn this paper the relationship between phenomenology of perception and synthetic phenomenology is discussed. Synthetic phenomenology is presented on the basis of the issues in A.I. and Robotics that required to address the question of what enables artificial agents to have phenomenal access to the environment. Phenomenology of perception is construed as a theory with autonomous structure and domain, which can be embedded in a philosophical as well as a scientific theory. Tourism encompasses a variety of semiotic performances overwriting cities’ identity. This paper focuses on the rebranding of Palermo as “the capital of antimafia” through an ethnosemiotic analysis of four tours sponsored by the antimafia association Addiopizzo and its touristic spin-off AddiopizzoTravel. The aim of the work is to underscore how the link between antimafia memory and the genius loci of Sicily is built by AddiopizzoTravel, thus revisiting the critical opposition “tourist” vs “traveler” from an “antimafia” perspective. La teoria dell’imitazione centrale nella riflessione estetica fin dall’antichità e fulcro del sistema delle Belle Arti elaborato nel Settecento da Charles Batteux sembra entrare in crisi con l’emergere delle nuove tecnologie e in particolare con la realtà virtuale. Il saggio, attraverso l’esame di alcune istallazioni artistiche multimediali e interattive, mette in luce le riconfigurazioni del concetto di imitazione nella contemporaneità in cui l’intero apparato categoriale tradizionale (autore, opera, fruitore) appare completamente trasformato.

As an obsessive keyword, the Pannonian mud appears in several writings of Miroslav Krleza. It represents the core of Croatian periphery, in particular the Podravina region, which was for long time untouched by modernity, and oppressed by feudal governments even after the fall of the Austrian Empire, from 1918 onwards. In this timeless place watered by the river Drava, the mud acquires a paradigmatic role like a phenomenon that causes historical conflicts. il saggio vuole verificare quale delle tradizionali definizioni di estetica (teoria della bellezza, teoria della sensibilità, filosofia dell’arte) sia ancora valida nell’età dei nuovi media. Attraverso l’analisi di alcuni testi di Walter Benjamin vengono individuati alcuni concetti (“montaggio”, “innervazione”, “aura-choc”) che trovano riscontro nelle teorie dei massmediologi contemporanei (McLuhan, De Kerckhove, Ortoleva).
