Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli tutkia pedagogista näkökulmaa kommunikatiiviseen kielitaitoon, joka on syrjäyttämässä vanhaa kielikäsitystä kielestä pelkkänä sanoista ja rakenteista rakentuvana systeeminä. Tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli myös erityisesti tarkastella, miten kommunikatiivisempi käsitys kielestä on vaikuttanut keskipitkän ruotsin ylioppilaskokeen kirjallisen osan sanasto- ja rakenneosion osatehtävään 2.2. International audience; We investigate similarities and differences in two teachers’ way of introducing algebraic expressions by designed examples. One teacher moves from the specific to the general, and the other moves from the general to the specific. They both mediate the passage from the students’ real world and the school mathematics they know, to algebra.

Yleiset kielitutkinnot ovat siirtymässä asteittain digitaaliseen muotoon. Tässä artikkelissa esitellään lyhyesti tätä muutosprosessia sekä kerrotaan maahanmuuttajille järjestetystä digitaalisen koealustan pilotoinnista ja sen tuloksista. Pilotti toteutettiin Lahdessa kotoutumiskoulutukseen osallistuvien maahanmuuttajien kielitaidon testauksella. Oral exams have great potential in improving oral communication skills of the students and they also test different kinds of skills than traditional written exams. One major obstacle preventing wider use of oral exams is that evaluation of the performance may be affected by the relationship between the student and teacher, and even for some inappropriate reasons such as the sex or appearance of the student. To avoid these possible biases, oral exams will need the presence of more than one teacher. This, however, means that oral exams will be very laborious. A two-point boundary value formulation of a mean-field crowd-averse game

Abstract We consider a population of “crowd-averse” dynamic agents controlling their states towards regions of low density. This represents a typical dissensus behavior in opinion dynamics. Assuming a quadratic density distribution, we first introduce a mean-field game formulation of the problem, and then we turn the game into a two-point boundary value problem. Such a result has a value in that it turns a set of coupled partial differential equations into ordinary differential equations.

The effect of Dexamethasone (DEX) on cell division and macromolecular synthesis was investigated in a line (Mc Coy cells, A 9) of synovial fibroblast-like cells derived from human osteoarthritic joints. DEX markedly reduced the proliferation of Mc Coy cells in a time and dose-dependent manner. The maxiamal inhibition (45 %) was found at 500 nM DEX 24 h after incubation and was accompanied by the appearance of giant macrophage-like cells. After DEX treatment cells showed increased content of DNA, proteins and RNA together with the reduction of [3H]-thymidine incorporation into the TCA-precipitable fraction.

Celem badania była (1) ocena stopnia przygotowania studentów pielęgniarstwa i położnictwa do egzaminu typu OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination), (2) poznanie opinii studentów na temat egzaminowania w formie OSCE i (3) poznanie emocji towarzyszących egzaminowi.Materiał i metody. Zbadano 160 (53,33%) studentów kierunku pielęgniarstwo oraz 140 (46,67%) studentów kierunku położnictwo z 5 uczelni medycznych. Zastosowano metodę sondażu diagnostycznego i technikę ankietowania. Wykorzystano ankietę własną.Wyniki. Studenci najlepiej zostali przygotowani z zakresu wykonywania zabiegów higieniczno–pielęgnacyjnych (M=4,22, SD=0,85) a najsłabiej do wykonywania zabiegów na przewodz…
