Structural control on the presence and character of calas: Observations from Balearic Islands limestones rock coast macroforms

Calas are characteristic embayed rocky coastline landforms related to steep-sided drowned valleys that were deeply incised during low sea-level stages into carbonate plateaus. This paper studies the factors that control the presence and character of calas in three different islands of the Balearic Archipelago (Mallorca, Menorca and Formentera) by means of Digital Elevation Model (DEM) reconstructions, embayment and catchment morphometric analysis and through the compilation of fault and joint orientations. Antibiotics are the most frequently detected pharmaceuticals in the environment creating conditions for the development of resistant genes in bacteria. Degradation and mineralization of glycopeptide antibiotic vancomycin (VMN) were examined by UV photolysis, pulsed corona discharge (PCD), and their combinations with extrinsic oxidants, hydrogen peroxide (HP), peroxydisulfate (PDS), and peroxymonosulfate (PMS). Both combinations were effective in VMN degradation and faster at pH 11 than in acidic or neutral media. Abstract Laser induced two-photon oxidation has proven to be a reliable method to pattern and control the level of oxidation of single layer graphene, which in turn allows the development of graphene-based electronic and optoelectronic devices with an all-optical method. Here we provide a full structural and chemical description of modifications of air-suspended graphene during the oxidation process. Maģistra darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 41 lapaspuses. Tas satur 24 attēlus, 3 tabulas un 48 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis: noteikt akomodācijas atpalikšanu monokulāros un binokulāros apstākļos un tās saistību ar refrakcijas veidu un heteroforijas veidu. Dalībnieki: 21 dalībnieks ar emetropiju, 21 dalībnieks ar miopiju. Metode: Akomodācijas atpalikšana tika noteikta ar MEM un Nott dinamisko retinoskopiju un ar ekscentrisko fotorefraktometru. Heteroforija tika mērīta ar Madox rod un Madox wing testiem. Rezultāti: Ametropijas un heteroforijas veids neietekmē akomodācijas atpalikšanas lielumu. Šo vielu savstarpējā mijiedarbība nodrošina preparāta stabilitāti, farmakoloģisko darbību un nosaka tā uzglabāšanas laiku. Mērķis ir izvērtēt esošo dekspantenolu saturošo preparātu sastāvus un optimizēt SIA “LMP” ražotā Bepaderm G gela sastāvu. Darba gaitā tika izvērtēti dažādu ražotāju dekspantenolu saturošu gelu un krēmu sastāvi, veikti SIA “LMP” ražotā Bepaderm G gela stabilitātes pētījumi un izveidoti jauni dekspantenolu saturošu gelu paraugi.
