”Onko kirjaston muutos palveluiden saneeraamista vai kehittämistä? Vastaan savolaisittain kyllä”, aloitti kirjastonjohtaja Jarmo Saarti (UEF) esityksensä STKS:n asiakaspalvelutyöryhmän seminaarissa. Näiden viime lokakuun lopulla lausuttujen sanojen lisäksi mieleen jääviä toteamuksia olivat myös: ”Älkää tätä kirjoittako ylös.” ”Pahvilaatikoiden leikkaaminen voi olla osa yliopisto-opiskelua”. ”Mitä tummempi väri, sen sosiaalisempi tila” ja ”Onhan siellä kirjoja ja rauhaa?”. Abstract Background Spain was initially one of the countries most affected by the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. In June 2020, the COVID-SCORE-10 study reported that the Spanish public’s perception of their government’s response to the pandemic was low. This study examines these perceptions in greater detail. Methods We employed an ordered logistic regression analysis using COVID-SCORE-10 data to examine the Spanish public’s perception of 10 key aspects of their government’s COVID-19 control measures. Parental ability attributions regarding children's academic performance: Person-oriented approach on longitudinal data

The aim of this study was to identify subgroups of mothers and fathers who differ according to the patterns of causal attribution to ability for their children's academic success and failure across early school years. Moreover, the extent to which the mother and father of the same child share the same attribution pattern, and how the attribution patterns are associated with the parents' level of education, children's sex and children's academic performance was investigated. In the Age of Revolutions, the legitimacy of political rule was increasingly derived in Western countries from popular sovereignty realised through parliamentary representation. This chapter analyses how the members of the representative institutions in Britain, France and Sweden attempted to solve tensions between popular sovereignty and representation during a revolutionary or evolutionary transition from the early modern representation of the interests of estates by delegates to the representation of the people by individual members.
