After the patrimonial destruction that took place during the Civil War of 1936-1939 in the city of Cartagena, religious art and especially sacred sculpture, is greatly affected. The artistic expressions that the Passionist entities took to the streets on the days of Holy Week, disappear almost in their entirety, having to start a tremendously costly reconstruction process in order to alleviate the losses suffered. The Cofradía California commissioned the renovation of its sculptural patrimony heritage, which came to replace the wealth of the works of Salzillo, to the Valencian artist Mariano Benlliure Gil. The study of religious language in modern linguistics has opened up opportunities for various kinds of research. The object of the study is the religious vocabulary as an integral part of the religious language, which can function in various ways. Russian and Polish Christian eortonyms translation, single - and bilingual general and specialized dictionaries of Polish and Russian religious vocabulary, and works on religious language were used as the research material. In Aranguren’s work the religious dimension is crucial, when he deals with it from the point of view of the “religious studies” and also when he deals with it from the ethical perspective. In the second case Aranguren speaks about an “ethics open to religion”. The article tries to show that in the second case there is an evolution in Aranguren’s thought with two stages. In the first one, religion appears as the satisfaction of human aspirations, rooted in an ethics which is grounded in metaphysics. Abstract: This article investigates the use of repeating panels in relation to speculative fiction storytelling in graphic novels Watchmen and From Hell , written by Alan Moore and illustrated by Dave Gibbons and Eddie Campbell, respectively. Presenting the same panel several times over the course of the narrative is an expressive medium-specific narrative technique available only to comics. Tytuły utworów literackich, muzycznych, malarskich czy filmowych należą do zbioru nazw własnych, których główną funkcją jest identyfikowanie poszczególnych obiektów (dzieł sztuki). Tym samym tytuły należą do klasy reproduktów, gdyż w tekstach muszą być reprodukowane w ustalonej dla danego języka formie. Tworzy to istotny problem dla tłumaczy, zwłaszcza w przekładzie tekstów, które zawierają w sobie tytuły.
