This article addresses identities, hierarchies of knowledge and power relations in academia in postcolonial settings, in the context of development studies in Tanzania. Based on literatures on organizational identity and postcolonial hybridity, it establishes a conceptual lens of hybrid identity, scrutinizing how the identity of the discipline of development studies is constructed. An empirical assessment of employer branding as a form of sport event sponsorship

Purpose. The purpose of this paper is to expand and test Backhaus and Tikoo’s (2004) employer branding (EB) conceptual framework from the perspective of internal EB in a sport event sponsorship context. Design/methodology/approach. This study developed a set of hypotheses, which were tested in the context of a business-to-business multinational organization’s sport event sponsorship project. Empirical data were collected from 716 employees of the case company after the sponsorship project was complete. Findings. Finland is now witnessing a nationwide curriculum reform, which highly demands the understanding towards organizational sensemaking in such dynamic context. This study aims at guiding the group members to better interpret the ongoing process of organizational sensemaking in an educational change climate. Mazadaptīvas personības iezīmes saistībā ar organizācijas pilsonisko uzvedību tieši nav pētītas, ir pieejami pētījumi par personības ietekmi uz darba sniegumu vai uzvedību darbā. Šī darba mērķis ir noskaidrot vai un kādas saistības pastāv starp mazadaptīvām personības iezīmēm un organizācijas pilsonisko uzvedību. Pētījumā piedalījās 70 respondenti (15 vīrieši un 55 sievietes), izmantojot DSM-V personības aptauju (saīsaināto versiju) un organizācijas pilsoniskās uzvedības skalu, tika secināts, ka starp mazadaptīvām personības iezīmēm un organizācijas pilsonisko uzvedību pastāv negatīvas, statistiski nozīmīgas saistības.

Con frecuencia en el contexto escolar los profesionales de la orientación deben realizar la evaluación de alumnos que presentan síntomas de TDAH, tarea para la cual hacen uso de diferentes instrumentos de evaluación de probada eficacia. Tomando como punto de referencia los criterios actuales para el diagnóstico de este trastorno, se realiza un análisis cualitativo de los ítems que componen 6 escalas y cuestionarios dirigidos a recoger información de los profesores para la evaluación del TDAH.
