Tuberculosis (TB) affects humans and other animals and is caused by bacteria from the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (MTBC). Previous studies have shown that there are at least nine members of the MTBC infecting animals other than humans; these have also been referred to as ecotypes. However, the ecology and the evolution of these animal-adapted MTBC ecotypes are poorly understood. In the Ouled Abdoun sedimentary basin (Morocco), the phosphatic series is composed of regular interbedded phosphatic and marly limestone layers. Exploitation of the phosphate in some deposits in this basin collides frequently with problems bound to the existence, in the phosphatic series, of disturbed areas (sterile bodies) qualified as derangements by the mining engineers of the Office Cherifian Phosphate Group (OCP). Ģimenes (familiāla) hiperholesterinēmija (FH) ir autosomāli dominanta ģenētiska slimība, kuras pamatā ir ilgstoši paaugstināts holesterīna līmenis (g.k.uz zema blīvuma holesterīna rēķina), un bez savlaicīgas diagnostikas un medikamentozās terapijas uzsākšanas raksturīga agrīna KVS manifestācija. Kopš 2015. gada februāra ir izveidots Latvijas ģimenes hiperholesterinēmijas reģistrs (LFHR), kura galvenais uzdevums ir identificēt pēc iespējas vairāk FH pacientus un uzsākt efektīvu primāro/sekundāro profilaksi. Tās izplatība pieaug līdz ar iedzīvotāju vecumu un mūsdienu dzīvesveida paradumiem, tādiem kā, nesabalansēts, neregulārs uzturs un mazkustīgs dzīvesveids. Šis bakalaura darbs tika izveidots ar mērķi - noskaidrot iedzīvotāju zināšanas par žultsakmeņu slimības attīstību veicinošajiem faktoriem un profilaksi. Abstract High energy particles reaching the Earth’s atmosphere are known as cosmic rays. As a result of interactions with nuclei of air molecules, cosmic rays induce showers of secondary particles, which can be divided into 3 components: electromagnetic, hadronic and muonic components. The Experiment with Multi Muon Array (EMMA), located at the depth of 75 m in the Pyhäsalmi mine in Finland, investigates the muonic component of the Extensive Air Showers (EAS) to deduce the direction, energy, and the mass of the primary cosmic ray particles.
