Sociālā tīkla „Facebook” uzdevumi mājasdarbu izpildes sekmēšanai angļu valodas stundās 7. klasē

2015

From job crafting to home crafting: A daily diary study among six European countries

2019

The actions that individuals take to proactively craft their jobs are important to help create more meaningful and personally enriching work experiences. But do these proactive behaviors have implications beyond working life? Inspired by the suggestion that individuals aim for a meaningful life we examine whether on days when individuals craft their jobs, they are more likely to craft non-work activities. It also seems likely that characteristics of the home environment moderate these cross-domain relationships. We suggest that crafting crosses domains particularly when individuals gain resources through high autonomy and high workload at home. We partly supported our model through a daily…

Biopsychosocial approach to caregiving burden: Why should we care about caregivers’ health?

2018

There are 11 million family caregivers in France and some estimates indicate that there will be 17 million in 2020.Caregiving is a source of chronic stress that requires adaptation and coping strategies.Caregiving may benefit the health of a caregiver with a positive coping style and altruistic goals. However, the caregiver's burden is frequently associated with negative effects in terms of biopsychosocial imbalance and medical conditions, with frequent anxiety and depression. The management of the caregiving burden starts with the recognition of health professionals – caregivers may benefit from consultation-liaison psychiatry and multidisciplinary medico-social strategies, in addition to co…

The Radó–Kneser–Choquet theorem for $p$-harmonic mappings between Riemannian surfaces

2020

In the planar setting the Rad\'o-Kneser-Choquet theorem states that a harmonic map from the unit disk onto a Jordan domain bounded by a convex curve is a diffeomorphism provided that the boundary mapping is a homeomorphism. We prove the injectivity criterion of Rad\'o-Kneser-Choquet for $p$-harmonic mappings between Riemannian surfaces. In our proof of the injecticity criterion we approximate the $p$-harmonic map with auxiliary mappings that solve uniformly elliptic systems. We prove that each auxiliary mapping has a positive Jacobian by a homotopy argument. We keep the maps injective all the way through the homotopy with the help of the minimum principle for a certain subharmonic expressio…

Proximal versus distal contextual factors: which impact on meal pleasure and food intake in the elderly living in a nursing home?

2014

Poster présenté lors de la conférence; Introduction: Several authors pointed out the importance of meal context on food intake in nursing home. Some authors assessed the impact of context improvement on food intake in nursing home, but they assessed ‘holistic’ strategies by improving physical environment, increasing choice level, changing staff organization… (Abbott et al. 2013). Despite some of these interventions were effective, these strategies are costly and thus difficult to be implemented in nursing home. The aim of the present experiment was to assess the impact of single contextual factors, three proximal factors (food contextual factors) and three distal factors (non-food contextua…

Homing blogs as ambivalent spaces for feminine agency

2017

This article discusses a form of lifestyle blogging where women blog about their homes and everyday lives. In these homing blogs, selfrepresentations are characteristically spatially demarcated within the private sphere of the home. As these repeated representations of women in their homes take place in the public space of the internet, homing blogs work towards naturalizing the home as a women’s sphere. Written and commented on mostly by other women, homing blogs represent a feminine form of self-expression and communication that functions as a discursive expression of ongoing social, economic, and cultural changes in affluent Western societies. In this article, Finnish versions of these h…

Creation of a food taste database using an in-home profile method

2013

Poster (1 page) ; http://www.pangborn2013.com/; International audience; The purpose of this study was to create a food taste database using an innovative in-home profile method and to have an overview on the sensory sapid world we face in our diet. The intensity of salty, sweet, acid and bitter tastes were scored using universal scales proposed within the Spectrum™ method (Muñoz and Civille, 1992) and newly developed scales for umami taste and fattiness. The in-home taste profile method was composed of two phases. The first phase consisted in an intensive training in laboratory (55 h). The second one was the in-home measurements phase (8 months) during which 12 panellists had to rate the ta…

T@sty: a test for assessing taste sensitivity. Description, application example

2019

The aim of the poster is to present the T@styTM device and to give an example application through results obtained in an ongoing study. The advantages and limits of this device will be discussed. T@styTM device, usable for home testing, was designed to assess human ability to detect several tastants at low concentrations in order to provide individual profiles based on sensitivity to the five tastes (sweet, salty, sour, bitter, and umami). Three test-sheets made of edible paper are used for each taste (three replicate measurements). Each test-sheet consists of six series of three precut discs (one “tasty disc” and two neutral discs) on which taste stimuli of different intensities were depos…
