The COVID-19 pandemic has been a major stress test for the agri-food system. While most research has analysed the impact of the pandemic on mainstream food systems, this article examines how alternative and local food systems (ALFS) in 13 countries responded in the first months of the crisis. Using primary and secondary data and combining the Multi-Level Perspective with social innovation approaches, we highlight the innovations and adaptations that emerged in ALFS, and how these changes have created or supported the sustainability transition in production and consumption systems. Cardiac threat appraisal and depression after first myocardial infarction

The present study investigated cardiac threat appraisal and its association with depression after first myocardial infarction (MI). A semi-structured interview allowing for DSM-IV-Axis I diagnoses was administered to 36 patients after first MI. Patients completed self-reports 5 to 15 days after the MI (time 1), 6 to 8 weeks later (time 2) and again 6 months later (time 3). Assessments at time 1 included indices of cardiac threat appraisal, locus of control, coping, and depression while at time 2 and time 3 only measures of depression were obtained. These contradictions underline the lack of precision characterizing indicators of human capital. This paper constructs new indicators based on a pool of international surveys concerning pupil assessment. Depuis une decennie au moins, plusieurs demarches ponctuelles ont porte l’attention sur l’importance d’une discussion sur les archives des sciences sociales et sur l’urgence de mesures conservatoires pour sauvegarder un patrimoine scientifique menace. Ces initiatives se prolongent aujourd’hui dans une demarche plus large, nationale, qui mobilise les etablissements de recherche et d’enseignement et les Archives nationales. La Maison des sciences de l’homme de Dijon a entrepris l’elaboration d’un inventaire des gisements conserves en France dans le domaine des sciences humaines et sociales en etablissant le questionnaire que nous proposons ici.

How will the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic develop in the coming months and years? Based on an expert survey, we examine key aspects that are likely to influence COVID-19 in Europe. The future challenges and developments will strongly depend on the progress of national and global vaccination programs, the emergence and spread of variants of concern, and public responses to nonpharmaceutical interventions (NPIs).
