Hyperspectral imaging based biomass and nitrogen content estimations from light-weight UAV

Hyperspectral imaging based precise fertilization is challenge in the northern Europe, because of the cloud conditions. In this paper we will introduce schemes for the biomass and nitrogen content estimations from hyperspectral images. In this research we used the Fabry-Perot interferometer based hypespectral imager that enables hyperspectral imaging from lightweight UAVs. During the summers 2011 and 2012 imaging and flight campaigns were carried out on the Finnish test field. Estimation mehtod uses features from linear and non-linear unmixing and vegetation indices. The results showed that the concept of small hyperspectral imager, UAV and data analysis is ready to operational use.

Concurrent exercise and metformin administration may reduce the acute and chronic effects of exercise on glucose metabolism in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D). TBI-related cardiac disorders depend on the type of cerebral injury, the region of brain damage and the severity of the intracranial hypertension. Although hyperreality is not a subject commonly studied in marketing, it characterizes an increasing number of leisure and tourist places. In this article, we build a theoretical model to have a better understanding of this phenomenon in order to define it. This model as well as a study of leisure tourist universes help us to identify the attributes and commercial strategies that are used to create a hyperreal environment. We also explore the strategic opportunities and threats associated with developing hyperreality on commercial grounds.

Extramedullary hematopoiesis within endothelial papillary hyperplasia (Masson?s pseudoangiosarcoma) of the tongue

We report the unique association of Masson?s pseudoangiosarcoma (endothelial papillary hyperplasia) and extramedullary hematopoiesis. The lesion was present as a violaceous nodule on the side of the tongue of a 78-year-old man with history of multiple myeloma and long-standing mild anemia. This association between a peculiar form of thrombus organization and extramedullary hematopoiesis has been reported previously only once, in an infant with a cranial hematoma, and raises interesting pathogenetic questions.
