Pierādījumu pieļaujamība kriminālprocesā

2016

Bakalaura darbs ,,Pierādījumu pieļaujamība kriminālprocesā” sniedz ieskatu pierādījumu jēdzienā, saturā un pierādījumu pazīmēs. Izpēta pierādījumu pieļaujamību un ar to saistītās problēmas, absolūtās pierādījumu nepieļaujamības gadījumus, ierobežotās pierādījumu pieļaujamības gadījumus. Pētot pierādījumu pieļaujamību, absolūto pierādījumu nepieļaujamību un ierobežoto pierādījumu pieļaujamību, analizēti tiesībzinātnieku viedokļi un tiesu prakse, apzināti problēmjautājumi un sniegti ieteikumi to risināšanai. Darba mērķis ir izprast pierādījumu jēdzienu un tā saturu, sniegt ieskatu pierādījumu pazīmēs, izpētīt pierādījumu pieļaujamības izpratni, pierādījumu absolūtās nepieļaujamības gadījumus,…

Modelling suburbanization (success and limits of microeconomics of cities)

2001

History of population and employment suburbanization, mainly in the United States, suggests three characteristics of the phenomenon. 1/ Suburbanization results in urban sprawl in such a way that population and employment increase more rapidly in the periphery than in thecenter. 2/ Suburbanization leads to the emergence of new activity centers in the periphery and gives rise to multicentric urban structures. 3/ Suburbanization différenciâtes the economic contents and functions of these activity centers and brings a new organization of urban centres. In this framework, suburbanization takes different forms depending of periods and regions. The emergence of centers and the transformation from m…

The pathophysiology of intestinal lipoprotein production

2015

Intestinal lipoprotein production is a multistep process, essential for the absorption of dietary fats and fat-soluble vitamins. Chylomicron assembly begins in the endoplasmic reticulum with the formation of primordial, phospholipids-rich particles that are then transported to the Golgi for secretion. Several classes of transporters play a role in the selective uptake and/or export of lipids through the villus enterocytes. Once secreted in the lymph stream, triglyceride-rich lipoproteins (TRLs) are metabolized by Lipoprotein lipase (LPL), which catalyzes the hydrolysis of triacylglycerols of very low density lipoproteins (VLDLs) and chylomicrons, thereby delivering free fatty acids to vario…

Carbon Dots Dispersed on Graphene/SiO2/Si: A Morphological Study

2019

Low-dimensional carbon materials occupy a relevant role in the field of nanotechnology. Herein, the authors report a study conducted by atomic force microscopy and Raman spectroscopy on the deposition of carbon dots onto graphene surfaces. The study aims at understanding if and how the morphology and the microstructure of chemical vapor deposited graphene on Si/SiO2 may change due to the interaction with the carbon dots. Potential alteration in the graphene's electrical properties might be detrimental for optoelectronic applications. The deposition of carbon dots dispersed in water and ethanol solvents are explored to investigate the effect of solvents with different fluidic properties. The…

Theoretical characterization of the photochemical reaction CO2+O(3P)→CO+O2 related to experiments in solid krypton

2020

Formation and decomposition of the complex of carbon dioxide and atomic oxygen are characterized by quantum chemistry methods aiming to rationalize experimental studies in solid krypton. The observed FTIR spectra reflected the temporal evolution of the system after irradiation showing the bands of reactants, intermediates and products. Advanced quantum chemistry calculations show that the T-shape complex CO2…O(3P) can be formed in the matrix. Its excitation by the 193 nm light results in the charge-transfer state CO2+…O-, which evolves to the reaction intermediate CO3. The latter species decomposes to CO + O2 following pathways on the excited state energy surfaces. peerReviewed

AB1358 Infectious antibodies repertoire in rheumatoid arthritis

2018

Background The incidence of infectious diseases in the RA ADAPTHERA study by ELISA antibody screening and the differences in infectious distribution in active or low active disease patients was explored. Methods Sera from 88 naive RA patients out of the ADAPTHERA study cohort, disease duration Results 82% RA patients were found to be positive for HSV1 +2 IgG (2% IgM positive), 8% for Adenovirus (IgA), 77% (IgG), and 1% (IgM). 99% for EBV-IgG (no IgM positive). 53% (IgG), and 26% (IgM) for CMV. 38% for HP-IgG and 15% for IgA and 79% for P-B19-IgG (3% IgM). 6% for Borrelia-IgM and 14% for IgG. A slightly increase was found for EBV sera positivity (99% IgG), compared to the normal population. …

Validation of the ISTH/SSC bleeding assessment tool for inherited platelet disorders: A communication from the Platelet Physiology SSC

2020

Background: Careful assessment of bleeding history is the first step in the evaluation of patients with mild/moderate bleeding disorders, and the use of a bleeding assessment tool (BAT) is strongly encouraged. Although a few studies have assessed the utility of the ISTH-BAT in patients with inherited platelet function disorders (IPFD) none of them was sufficiently large to draw conclusions and/or included appropriate control groups. Objectives: The aim of the present study was to test the utility of the ISTH-BAT in a large cohort of patients with a well-defined diagnosis of inherited platelets disorder in comparison with two parallel cohorts, one of patients with type-1 von Willebrand disea…

New techs, new threats: sfide e opportunità della rivoluzione blockchain

2021

Considering the current diffusion of blockchain technology in the most different fields, ranging from public governance to economics, from contractual applications to health, the contribution addresses the issue of the legal regulation of this new technology, precisely because of its vast applications. From the comparison between the European model and the American one, the approach of the European legislator ‒ despite the delay with which the institutions have addressed the issue, seems to show, as already happened in other areas, a more 'social oriented' perspective and based on a sort of 'democratization' of data compared to the American approach, more ‘business oriented’, where the scho…
