RESUMO. A imagem é uma linguagem icônica com o poder de transmitir informações, reproduzir estereótipos e influenciar o professor. Este estudo trata dos manuais do professor de Educação Física elaborados no Brasil e aprovados no Programa Nacional do Livro e do Material Didático (BRASIL, 2017). Especificamente, analisa as imagens de pessoas neles existentes, com vistas a verificar se existem estereótipos relacionados às práticas corporais. Este artigo propõe situar as principais correntes de leitura da imagem na arte medieval e sublinha a aparição de uma matriz original de pensamento, o pensamento pela arte, entre 1950 e 2000. The aim of the present study is to determine the treatment given to the pictures of the body and physical activity in Physical Education’s textbooks for Primary School. The sample consists of 997 images of nine textbooks published by five publishers. A descriptive analysis was performed on the variables gender, age, race, and somatotype that refer to the body, and type, scope, space, and level of practice referred to physical activity. Results show that stereotypes still remain regarding the body and physical activity, emphasizing the male, white, thin and youth body that practices sports and motor skills. Objectives: To develop a consensus and provide updated recommendations on liver MR imaging and the clinical use of liver-specific contrast agents. Methods: The European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR) formed a multinational European panel of experts, selected on the basis of a literature review and their leadership in the field of liver MR imaging. Genetic-neuroimaging paradigms could provide insights regarding the pathophysiology of bipolar disorder (BD). Nevertheless, findings have been inconsistent across studies. A systematic review of gene-imaging studies involving individuals with BD was conducted across electronic major databases from inception until January 9th, 2017. Forty-four studies met eligibility criteria (N = 2122 BD participants). Twenty-six gene variants were investigated across candidate gene studies and 4 studies used a genome-wide association approach. Resumen: La imagen corporal positiva presenta una función protectora preeminente ante los medios de comunicación actuales, sin embargo, a la fecha no se cuenta con estudios que la vinculen con las redes sociales. El objetivo de este trabajo fue estudiar la asociación entre la motivación y usos de redes sociales y la imagen corporal positiva, considerando diferencias por sexo y grupos de edad. La muestra contó con 180 participantes, 94 varones (52.2 %) y 86 mujeres (47.8 %), edades de 18 a 65 años (M = 31.03; DE = 13.34).
