Impact of electron beam irradiation on fish gelatin film properties

International audience; The objective of this work was to display the effect of electron beam accelerator doses on properties of plasticized fish gelatin film. Electron spin resonance indicates free radical formation during irradiation, which might induce intermolecular cross-linking. Tensile strength for gelatin film significantly increases after irradiation (improved by 30% for 60 kGy). The vapour permeability is weakly affected by irradiation. Surface tension and its polar component increase significantly and are in accordance with the increase of wettability. Chemical leaveners are used to give cookies, cakes, and other baked goods their characteristic textures. They produce gas when a carbon dioxide source and an acid are mixed together and come into contact with water. The most common sources of gas are sodium or potassium bicarbonate alone or in combination with ammonium bicarbonate. A great variety of acids are used in baking powder formulations. Different sample treatment approaches for the analysis of T-2 and HT-2 toxins from oats-based media.

A LC-DAD method is proposed for the determination of the T-2 and HT-2 toxins in cultures of Fusarium langsethiae in oat-based and other in vitro media. Test media consisted of freshly prepared milled oats to which T-2 and HT-2 toxin stock solutions were added. Different mixtures of extraction solvent (acetonitrile:water and methanol water), extraction times (30', 60' or 90') and drying methods were investigated. HDL-partikkelien merkitys rasva- ja kolesteroliyhdisteiden kuljettajana on tunnettu jo pitkään, mutta viimeaikaiset tutkimustulokset ovat antaneet viitteitä niiden monenlaisista muista tehtävistä elimistössä. On the Landis conjecture for the fractional Schrödinger equation

In this paper, we study a Landis-type conjecture for the general fractional Schrödinger equation ((−P)s+q)u=0. As a byproduct, we also prove the additivity and boundedness of the linear operator (−P)s for non-smooth coefficents. For differentiable potentials q, if a solution decays at a rate exp (−∣x∣1+), then the solution vanishes identically. For non-differentiable potentials q, if a solution decays at a rate exp (−∣x∣4s−14s+), then the solution must again be trivial. The proof relies on delicate Carleman estimates. This study is an extension of the work by Rüland and Wang (2019). peerReviewed
