Evaluación de la reacción de alumnos y docentes en un modelo mixto de aprendizaje para Educación Superior

Si bien en la educación presencial uno de los factores clave del éxito es el desempeño del docente dentro del salón de clase, es evidente que dentro de la educación en línea el papel del docente será distinto a su papel tradicional. Por ello, deben revalorarse los factores que garantizarán la calidad en este nuevo tipo de oferta educativa. En este estudio se muestran los resultados obtenidos de un análisis de caso de educación mixta (blended learning) para educación superior, y se enlistan los factores de éxito resultantes, así como algunas barreras para la adecuada implantación.

A Design-Oriented Analysis of Multimodality in English as a Foreign Language

This empirical article investigates multimodality in English as a foreign language, both as seen in the use of multimodal texts as artefacts and pedagogical texts for learning, and through an analysis of the multimodal learning designs. We present observations from a year 10 classroom in Norway that worked with the novel The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian (Alexie, 2007). We explore a four-week teaching sequence, asking how different modes were involved when the educator designed literacy events around the novel, and how multimodality is present in the students’ meaning making. CUDA-BLASTP: Accelerating BLASTP on CUDA-enabled graphics hardware

Scanning protein sequence database is an often repeated task in computational biology and bioinformatics. However, scanning large protein databases, such as GenBank, with popular tools such as BLASTP requires long runtimes on sequential architectures. Due to the continuing rapid growth of sequence databases, there is a high demand to accelerate this task. In this paper, we demonstrate how GPUs, powered by the Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA), can be used as an efficient computational platform to accelerate the BLASTP algorithm. Liikkuva opiskelu -ohjelman myötä myös korkeakouluopiskelijoiden opiskelupäivän aikaiseen liikkumiseen ja paikallaanoloon on alettu kiinnittämään enemmän huomiota. Opiskelupäivien ja oppituntien aktivointi nähdään tarpeellisena, sillä vain puolet opiskelijoista liikkuu liikkumissuosituksiin nähden tarpeeksi. Myös istumista kertyy korkeakouluopiskelijoille lähes 11 tuntia päivittäin, ja iso osa tästä määrästä kertyy nimenomaan opiskelupäivän aikana. The household codes in which we find the advices given to fathers are the exegetes’ focus of attention since the time of Reformation. From this period on, on the basis of various criteria, one tried to define the genre of household codes and set them apart as a separate body in the New Testament literature. Following the particular topic which regards the exhortations addressed to pater familias, we analyzed two fragments contained respectively in the Letter to Colossians and in the Letter to Ephesians. The aim of the present article is to present the typology of listening comprehension skills activated during Polish language lessons. What the author claims is that in Polish school two types of listening co-exist, namely: natural and activated. The former resembles conditions of natural communication, since a student assumes the role of text recipient, whereas the latter is a process of teaching the skills of listening comprehension. Based on questions and instructions elicited from selected school handbooks shows in what way the activated type of listening comprehension is taught as a part of Polish as a mother tongue lessons.

Pratica didattica e caratteristiche dei docenti universitari che utilizzano Flipped Classroom

La ricerca affronta il tema della pratica della Flipped Classroom (FC o classe capovolta) all’università, con un’attenzione particolare alla figura del docente e mira a definire le caratteristiche che accomunano i docenti che utilizzano questo metodo e come costoro percepiscono il loro ruolo. La metodologia di ricerca utilizzata è il metodo misto dello studio esploratorio sequenziale. Nella prima fase sono state condotte 20 interviste online in profondità con docenti italiani, spagnoli e britannici. Instrukcja, a w zasadzie punkty z sejmiku województw poznańskiego i kaliskiego z 1701 r. są związane z początkową fazą Wielkiej Wojny Północnej, która zmieniła układ sił w Europie Środkowo-Wschodniej.
