Spectrally selective holographic optical elements based on a thick polymer medium with diffusional amplification

A thick rigid polymer recording medium with self-amplification of holograms owing to diffusion of phenanthrenequinone molecules was used to find efficient holographic optical elements with high-spectral-selectivity interference filters and multiple demultiplexers. Several examples of practical applications are briefly described in this paper, showing the benefits of such optical elements for the fields of astronomy, spectroscopy and communication technologies.

Portable neuroimaging technologies can be employed for long-term monitoring of neurophysiological and neuropathological states. Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS) and Electroencephalography (EEG) are highly suited for such a purpose. Their multimodal integration allows the evaluation of hemodynamic and electrical brain activity together with neurovascular coupling. An innovative fNIRS-EEG system is here presented. X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy (X-ALD) and pseudo neonatal adrenoleukodystrophy (P-NALD) are neurodegenerative demyelinating diseases resulting from the functional loss of the peroxisomal ATP-binding cassette transporter D (ABCD1) and from single peroxisomal enzyme deficiency (Acyl-CoA oxidase1: ACOX1), respectively. arbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 39 lapaspusēm. Tas satur 13 attēlus, 4 tabulas, 32 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Maģistra darba mērķis ir dzidrināto pārklājumu un briļļu lēcu refrakcijas koeficienta ietekmes uz redzes asumu izpēte. Darba mērķa sasniegšanai 20 pacientiem tika piedāvāti redzes asuma pārbaudes testēšanas pētījumi: ar augstā indeksa lēci bez dzidrinātā pārklājuma, ar augstā indeksa lēci ar atstarojošo pārklājumu, ar lēcu ar refrakcijas koeficientu 1.5 un dzidrināto pārklājumu. Pēc darba rezultātiem tika secināts, ka starp rezultātiem, kas saņemti ar lēcu ar pārklājumu izmantošanu, īpašas starpības nav. Tomēr, augstā indeksa lēca bez papildus pārklājuma lielā mērā samaz…
