La globalización e internacionalización de los mercados, así como el aumento de la competencia arrastran a las organizaciones a plantearse cambiar sus estrategias de negocios. En este sentido, el presente estudio tiene por objeto mejorar el sistema de costes y gestión en una Autoridad Portuaria, mediante la implantación de un sistema de costes y gestión basado en las actividades (ABC/ABM). Con ello, se pretende dar respuesta a la necesidad que tenía esta entidad de adaptar su sistema de información interna a estas nuevas exigencias del mercado obteniendo, por consiguiente, una información de mayor calidad para lograr una gestión estratégica de sus costes.

This paper aims to examine the relationships between the research of young Viktor von Weizsäcker and Kant’s critical thinking. Starting from the criticism of Driesch’s Neovitalism, here are considered some of the major contributions of Weizsacker in the years 1911-1926, in order to show its path between criticism of knowledge, metaphysics, construction of a biology and a medical anthropology.
Occurrence of aflatoxins in feedstuff, sheep milk and dairy products in Western Sicily

Samples of feedstuffs (15), milk (40), and cheese (30) coming from sheep and dairy farms (23) or market in WesternSicily were analyzed for their respective content of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) and M1 (AFM1) to evidence any possible indirectmycotoxin contamination risk to the consumer. The origins of agriculture in Iberia: a computational model

Here we discuss the importance of using the rich and growing database of high-precision, audited radiocarbon dates for high-resolution bottom-up modelling to focus on problems concerning the spread of the Neolithic in the Iberia. We also compare the spread of the Late Mesolithic (so-called Geometric) and the Early Neolithic using our modelling environment. Our results suggest that the source of radiocarbon data used to evaluate alternative hypotheses plays an important role in the results and open up new lines of research for the future.
Energy use efficiency of livestock farms in a mountain area of Sicily

The research aimed to evaluate the performance (in terms of energy) of livestock farms located in a Mediterranean mountain area and characterized by different stocking rates. Farm data were collected from in-person interviews of farmers of 58 farms representative of the livestock farms of the Madonie and Nebrodi mountains area (Sicily, Italy), including several parameters related to farm characteristics, animal, crop and pasture management. The farm parameters were used to calculate input and output energy values from which agroecosystem performance indicators were derived. Multiplicity results for a class of asymmetric weakly coupled systems of second order ordinary differential equations

We prove the existence and multiplicity of solutions to a two-point boundary value problem associated to a weakly coupled system of asymmetric second-order equations. Applying a classical change of variables, we transform the initial problem into an equivalent problem whose solutions can be characterized by their nodal properties. The proof is developed in the framework of the shooting methods and it is based on some estimates on the rotation numbers associated to each component of the solutions to the equivalent system.

<p>El presente trabajo constituye un diagnóstico aproximado sobre el riesgo de inundación de la ciudad de Iquitos. La finalidad del estudio fue identificar las áreas que presentan riesgos de inundación, en referencia al registro histórico del caudal del río Amazonas en el 2012, para establecer propuestas de gestión y ordenación territorial. La metodología empleada para la elaboración de la cartografía de riesgo se basó en el trabajo de Camarasa y Soriano (2008, 2012), como referencia para la identificación de las unidades de peligro de inundación y vulnerabilidad, a partir de las cartografías de geomorfología, uso actual del suelo, valoración económica del suelo y exposición humana.&…
