Este estudio se centra en conocer en qué grado los tutores de 2o ciclo de Educación Infantil de las escuelas públicas de Valencia (España) trabajan el lenguaje musical en sus alum- nos, con el fin de analizar la importancia que le atribuyen a la estimulación auditiva temprana por medio del desarrollo de la discriminación de sonidos musicales y su didáctica. La investigación es cuantitativa-cualitativa, por encuesta con cuestionario, administrado a 95 tutores. Como resultado, se confirma la escasa estimulación que reciben los niños y la necesidad de ofertar más cursos de formación en didáctica musical para este colectivo docente. The aim of this article is to outline important themes, according to Finnish early childhood education researchers, that need to be addressed in researching and educating children under three years of age in Finland. To achieve this aim, the article divides into two parts. First, we present and discuss the results of a small-scale survey, conducted in Finland, on the views of key informants in the early childhood education units of Finnish universities. The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child explicitly recognizes that children are entitled to the full range of civil, cultural, economic, political and social rights. Despite the powerful social function of textbooks in legitimizing cultural norms in primary and secondary education, there has been little attention on human rights issues in early childhood education (ECE) curricular materials. Difract: Un nuevo laboratorio virtual para la modelización matemática de las propiedades de difracción de redes fractales

[EN] This work presents a new virtual laboratory, Difract, developed with Easy Java Simulations, for using in Optics courses as a computer tool for the mathematical modelling of the diffraction properties of 1D and 2D fractal gratings. This virtual laboratory enables students to quickly and easily analyze the influence on the Fraunhofer diffraction pattern of the different construction parameters of the fractal grating. As an application example, the Cantor fractal set has been considered.

The present study analyzes the preventive health care provisions for nationals and undocumented migrants in Germany, the Netherlands and Spain in light of four indicators derived from the United Nations Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights’ General Comment 14 (GC 14). These indicators are (i) immunization; (ii) education and information; (iii) regular screening programs; and (iv) the promotion of the underlying determinants of health. A software system to teach economics to secondary school and first year engineering students

[EN] In this paper, we present a graphical user interface which has been devised to teach the basic concepts of economics in secondary schools and first year engineering courses. The application allows students to vary certain parameters and visually observe the effect on the supply and demand curves. The system has been developed in Matlab and employed in a secondary school in Spain. The first results are presented.
