Treatment of brain cancer, glioma, can cause cognitive impairment as a side‐effect, possibly because it disrupts the integrity of the hippocampus, a structure vital for normal memory. Radiotherapy is commonly used to treat glioma, but the effects of irradiation on the brain are still poorly understood, and other biological effects have not been extensively studied. Here we exposed healthy adult male rats to small and moderate‐dose irradiation of the head. We found no effect of irradiation on systemic inflammation, weight gain or gut microbiota diversity, although it increased the abundance of Bacteroidaceae family, namely Bacteroides genus in the gut microbiota. This paper explores the social and political potential of accounting scholarship, presenting and discussing an intellectual intervention challenging a legislative reform that significantly affected Spanish industrial relations. In this reform, an accounting artifact (forecasted losses) played an unexpected role and was misrepresented, prompting a sizeable number of scholars to sign two manifestos in 2010 and 2012 against the use of forecasted losses made by the new legislation. Latvijas Republikas Autortiesību likumā ir iestrādāti punkti, kas ir saistīti ar taisnīgas reprogrāfiskās reproducēšanas īstenošanu, tomēr praksē atlīdzību izmaksāšana autoriem nenotiek. Pētījuma mērķis ir analizēt reprogrāfiskās reproducēšanas jautājumus regulējošo tiesisko bāzi un noskaidrot, kāpēc netiek īstenota Autortiesību likumā noteiktā atlīdzību izmaksāšana. Darba gaitā analizēti trīs starptautiskie dokumenti, Latvijas un četri citu valstu nacionālie autortiesību likumi, kā arī intervēti biedrības “LATREPRO” un Kultūras ministrijas pārstāvji. A new copper(I) coordination polymer [Cu6(μ3-I)6(μ3-PTAO)2]n (1) was prepared from copper(I) iodide and 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane-7-oxide (PTAO). The crystal structure of 1 reveals an intricate 2D coordination network constructed from the hexacopper(I)-iodide [Cu6(μ3-I)6] cluster units with the 4M6-1 topology interlinked by the μ3-PTAO spacers. An overall 2D layer network can be simplified to a binodal 3,6-connected net with the kgd topology. A derived 1@paper material was prepared by impregnating compound 1 onto a filter paper.
