Etymological research of Silesian dialects lexis enables to present its diverse linguistic and cultural bonds with neighboring dialects and languages. The existing scope and State of lexicographical study of Silesian lexis allows to engage in this extensive research. Not many articles concerning this matter have been published until now. Pur essendo coeve, le biografie intellettuali di Antonio Rosmini e Alexis de Tocqueville non mostrano piena reciprocità di espliciti richiami bibliografici intercorsi tra i due. Il confronto diretto, non l’unico ma senz’altro il più approfondito, è stato operato da Rosmini limitatamente al libro della Democrazia in America pubblicato nel 1835. AbstractThe present study analyzes the discursive strategies of manipulation in the political genre of a discourse in Parliament with an aim to convince the audience that the Prime Minister and his party are innocent of receiving illegal cash donations from a slush fund run in the party. For that purpose, we have usedVan Dijk’s (2006)scheme of strategies of manipulation at several levels of discourse (content, lexis, topics, syntax, rhetoric, and order of discourse). Na Śląsku, podobnie jak w innych regionach Polski, odnotowujemy sporą liczbę nazw nazywających skrzyp ‘Equisetum’. Według danych Atlasu językowego Śląska A. Zaręby nazwy skrzypu układają się w dość przejrzyste strefy geograficzne. Na północ od izoleksy Chocianowice (pow. kluczborski) i Stare Budkowice (pow. opolski) występują warianty leksemu kostka. Na Śląsku środkowym, po Chełm Śląski (pow. tyski), Bełk (pow. rybnicki), Rogów (pow. wodzisławski) spotykamy przęckę. This essay reconstructs the historical circumstances of the discovery of Altichiero’s frescoes and the consequent discussions among connoisseurs concerning the autography and the cultural value of the same. Jauniešu mobilitāte ir nozīmīgs pētījumu virziens migrācijas literatūrā. Jaunieši ir ģeogrāfiski ļoti mobila iedzīvotāju grupa. Migrācijas izpētē iedzīvotāju pārvietošanās bieži tiek skatīta cilvēka dzīves gājuma kontekstā. Šajā darbā pētītas vienas Rīgas ģimnāzijas klases absolventu migrācijas biogrāfijas, lai labāk izprastu jauniešu migrācijas komplekso raksturu Latvijā. Pētījumā izmantota mikro analītiskā pieeja jauniešu migrācijas izpētē, bet nepieciešamie dati iegūti ar padziļinātu un strukturētu interviju palīdzību. Bakalaura darbā tiek pētīti līdzekļi finanšu terminoloģijas mācīšanai. Teorētiskajā daļā apskatītas terminoloģijas un leksikas galvenās īpašības, mācīšanas metodes un aktivitātes, analizēts finanšu diskurss. Empīriskās daļas mērķis ir noskaidrot, kuras metodes un aktivitātes ir piemērotas finanšu terminoloģijas mācīšanai pieaugušajiem. Pētījuma dati tika iegūti analizējot novērojumus un studentu progresu. Iegūtie dati liecina, ka pieaugušie var mācīties finanšu terminoloģiju, izmantojot arī tradicionālās mācīšanas metodes, taču saskaņā ar studentu sniegto informāciju, inovatīvas mācību metodes un aktivitātes ir noderīgākas un patīkamākas.
