Bakalaura darba tēma ir „Eiropas Savienības ietekme uz publiskās pārvaldes reformu: Latvijas gadījuma analīze”. Darbā aplūkotā problēma ir Latvijas publiskās pārvaldes sektora veidošana atbilstoši ES prasībām. Teorētiskajā daļā tiek skatīts eiropeizācijas jēdziens. Empīriskajā daļā tiek veikta gadījuma analīze, kuras ietvaros, ar kvalitatīvās kontentanalīzes palīdzību, tiek analizēti Latvijas progresa ziņojumi laika posmā no 1998. līdz 2002. g. Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, cik lielā mērā vienotas Eiropas administratīvās telpas principi ir radījuši izmaiņas publiskās pārvaldes sektorā Latvijā. Skaņas analizēšana elpas esamības noteikšanai

Darbā ir apskatītas dažādas elpas skaņas atpazīšanas metodes audio ierakstos. Tiek piedāvāts un implementēts elpas noteikšanas algoritms, kas nosaka elpas esamību ar stetoskopu veidotā skaņas ierakstā, pārbauda piedāvātā algoritma darbību ar dažādiem ieejas datiem, un salīdzina rezultātus ar cita, jau esoša algoritma implementācijas rezultātiem. Tiek iegūts pārsvarā pozitīvs rezultāts – piedāvātā algoritma implementācija atpazīst vidēji 74% no visām ar stetoskopu ierakstītām elpas skaņām. Tiek secināts, ka algoritmu var uzlabot.

Abstract The inherently chiral tetrabenzoxazine resorcarene derivative 1 shows characteristic plateau-formation during enantioselective HPLC separation on the chiral stationary phase Chiralpak AD. By computer assisted peak form analysis of the elution profiles, obtained from temperature dependent dynamic HPLC (DHPLC) experiments, with ChromWin, the enantiomerization barrier Δ G # (298 K)=92±2 kJ mol −1 and the activation parameters Δ H # =53.0±1.8 kJ mol −1 and Δ S # =−131±14 J (K mol) −1 were determined.

A novel virus- and integrin clustering–specific pathway diverts integrin from its normal endo/exocytic traffic to a nonrecycling degradative endosomal route. Clustering of α2β1 integrin causes redistribution of the integrin to perinuclear endosomes, leading to enhanced integrin turnover promoted by calpains.
Occurrence of acidic pharmaceuticals and personal care products in Turia River Basin: From waste to drinking water

The occurrence of 21 acidic pharmaceuticals, including illicit drugs, and personal care products (PPCPs) in waste, surface and drinking water and in sediments of the Turia River Basin (Valencia, Spain) was studied. A liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) method was developed for the determination of these PPCPs with electrospray (ESI) in negative ionization (NI) mode. Ammonium fluoride in the mobile phase improved ionization efficiency by an average increase in peak area of 5 compared to ammonium formate or formic acid. Abstract Multi Stage approach is used in Single Point Incremental Forming (SPIF) to overcome one of the main forming limitations, namely the maximum wall angle, characterizing the single stage process.
