Abstract In recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS)s, off-flavors and odors, mainly caused by geosmin (GSM) and 2-methylisoborneol (MIB), can accumulate in the flesh of fish from RAS water, reducing the profitability of production. In this study, peracetic acid (PAA) was applied in three application intervals to pump sumps of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) reared in RAS. Using a real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR), the potential off-flavor producers were quantified using geoA and MIB synthase genes. Diabētiskās retinopātijas skrīnings optometrista praksē

Maģistra darbs uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 46 lapām, satur 21 attēlu, 12 tabulas, 2 pielikumus un 105 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis: novērtēt optometristu un automātiskās skrīninga programmatūras prasmes atpazīt diabētiskās retinopātijas pazīmes. Pētījuma dalībnieki: pētījumā piedalījās 2 oftalmologi, 14 optometristi un automatizētā skrīninga programmatūra AI Avenue. Metode: 196 tīklenes attēliem tika veikts skrīninga tests atbilstoši starptautiskās diabētiskās retinopātijas klasifikācijai. This article details Finnish news organizations’ adoption of drones for journalistic purposes from 2011 to 2020. The theoretical starting point of the article is Rogers’ (1962) diffusion of innovations theory, which explains how new ideas and technologies spread in societies. The main empirical data for the study were derived from a phone survey conducted among the 80 most popular newspapers in Finland. The findings reveal that drone journalism in Finland has already diffused from a few pioneering organizations to a large number of newsrooms, including regional, mid-sized newspapers. Kopš 2006. gada diabētisku makulopātiju (DM) ārstē ar anti – vaskulārā endotēlija augšanas faktora inhibotoru (anti-VEGF) preparātiem un viens no tiem ir (Bevacizumab) preparāts Avastin. Anti-VEGF terapija uzskatāma par mazāk traumatisku terapiju, tāpēc anti-VEGF terapija tiek pētīta sīkāk.
