The yeast histone acetyltransferase A2 complex, but not free Gcn5p, binds stably to nucleosomal arrays.

We have investigated the structural basis for the differential catalytic function of the yeast Gcn5p-containing histone acetyltransferase (HAT) A2 complex and free recombinant yeast Gcn5p (rGcn5p). HAT A2 is shown to be a unique complex that contains Gcn5p, Ada2p, and Ada3p, but not proteins specific to other related HAT A complexes, e.g. ADA, SAGA. Nevertheless, HAT A2 produces the same unique polyacetylation pattern of nucleosomal substrates reported previously for ADA and SAGA, demonstrating that proteins specific to the ADA and SAGA complexes do not influence the enzymatic activity of Gcn5p within the HAT A2 complex. 27 pages; International audience; This study discusses the characteristics of two Lower Cretaceous injectite networks in the Vocontian Basin (SE France) using combined structural, sedimentary, diagenetic, and petrophysical analyses. Internal structures, at both the macro- and micro-scale, and diagenetic phases characterising these injectite networks have been described. El objetivo de la investigación es mostrar cómo se representan las personas con discapacidad en las imágenes de los libros de texto de Educación Física en la etapa de Educación Primaria. El estudio es de tipo empírico, descriptivo y comparativo entre los libros de texto analizados. La muestra recogió 3836 imágenes de libros de texto publicados en España entre los años 2006 y 2013, bajo la Ley Orgánica de Educación (LOE). La técnica de investigación fue el análisis de contenido a través de un sistema de categorías elaborado ad hoc, previa validación y fiabilidad mediante una prueba piloto, una consulta a expertos/as y una prueba intercodificadores. Publikācija “Volejbols Latvijas Universitātē” izstrādāta apkopojot šīs izstādes materiālus un veltīta vienam no sporta veidiem – volejbolam. Rakstā atspoguļota volejbola attīstība no LU dibināšanas 1919. gadā līdz 2018.gadam, aprakstot būtiskākos sasniegumus un ievērojamākos sportistus.

El document presenta l'enunciat d'un treball per a les assignatures de necessitats educatives especials i intervenció en discapacitat intel·lectual dels graus de Mestre/a en Educació Infantil i Mestre/a en Educació Primària. El treball consisteix en: a) avaluar l'accessibilitat cognitiva d'una escola; i b) elaborar un informe en el qual s'identifiquen les barreres relacionades amb accessibilitat cognitiva i continga proposades per a eliminar-les. L'activitat es planteja com una experiència d'aprenentatge servei en la qual es produeix un benefici real per a les escoles col·laboradores.

Plant viral movement proteins (MPs) participate actively in the intra- and intercellular movement of RNA plant viruses to such an extent that MP dysfunction impairs viral infection. However, the molecular mechanism(s) of their interaction with cognate nucleic acids are not well understood, partly due to the lack of structural information. In this work, a protein dissection approach was used to gain information on the structural and RNA-binding properties of this class of proteins, as exemplified by the 61-amino acid residue p7 MP from carnation mottle virus (CarMV).
