Usi pubblici e politici di Dante Alighieri

The commemorations of Dante Alighieri ‘s 700th death anniversary saw in 2021 a ‘national’ and even a ‘nationalist ‘ Dante cropping up once again in the Italian public discourse. This article summarises the history of the public and political uses of the poet of the Divina Commedia: from the end of the 18th century, when his modern cult was born, to the Risorgimento, from the First World War to Fascism, up to the more recent ‘pop’ Dante.

In occasione delle celebrazioni per il settecentenario della sua morte in Italia è stato riproposto un Dante “nazionale” e “nazionalista”. Incapacità di acquisire nuovi ricordi difficoltà nel ricordare eventi osservati recentemente mancata identificazione delle cose dei luoghi e delle persone disorientamento visivo-spaziale sono questi e molti altri i disturbi con cui devono imparare a convivere coloro che sono colpiti da malattie neurologiche. In una società in continua evoluzione dove la diminuzione della natalità e l’innalzamento della soglia di mortalità divengono costanti il compito dell’Architettura è proprio quello d’interpretare le esigenze e i bisogni di persone che hanno perso il rapporto canonico con il mondo e offrire loro le possibilità di recuperarlo o di mantenerlo attraverso canali di comunicazione che sfruttino le loro residue capacità di comprensione. Lo spazio interno ed esterno assume così una “funzione protesica” contenendo ed esprimendo in sé le conoscenze necessarie per la sua corretta fruizione riducendo il senso di frustrazione attraverso la sensazione di sicurezza e di benessere che il malato deve percepire vivendolo. Modelling and forecasting mortality in Spain

[EN] Experience shows that static life tables overestimate death probabilities. As a consequence of this overestimation the premiums for annuities, pensions and life insurance are not what they actually should be, with negative effects for insurance companies or policy-holders. The reason for this overestimation is that static life tables, through being computed for a specific period of time, cannot take into account the decreasing mortality trend over time. Dynamic life tables overcome this problem by incorporating the influence of the calendar when graduating mortality. Within the framework of a research programme aimed at the chronological reconstruction of the structures belonging to the architectonic complex of San Francesco alla Collina of Paternò (Catania, Italy), a procedure was carried out using thermoluminescence (TL) and optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) dating, respectively on terracotta bricks and mortar from the same sampling points. Pesticide residues in beebread, live and dead honey bees, together with honey bee death rate were monitored from June 2016 to June 2018 in three apiaries, located near agricultural settings and in wildlands. Dead honey bees were only collected and analyzed when significant mortality episodes occurred and pesticide content in beeswax of each experimental apiary was evaluated at the beginning of the study. Samples were extracted by a modified QuEChERS procedure and screened for pesticides residues by liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).
