The central thesis sustained in this article focuses on the idea that any complete educational exposition needs a philosophical an anthropological dimension. This article presents three philosophical conceptions which sustain and give coverage to the disciplines that are taught in some Spanish universities: Oviedo, Granada and Valencia. Although these positions are quite different they share a common starting point: the defence of a philosophical conception as the basis of the Theory of the Education.

The article discusses the concept of authenticity in relation to literary travel and other forms of media-induced travel. Focusing on the power of fictional narrative to draw members of the audience to locations associated with a story, the paper aims to find out what exactly visitors are expecting to find when journeying to locations with literary and media associations. PurposeThis paper approaches manager's storytelling as a means for promoting organizational aims and for constructing leadership, and examines the intentions of managers in this process. We focus on the context of storytelling and the content of the stories told by managers in order to identify areas of influence on subordinates.
