"15 Latvijas pilsētu notekūdeņu metagenoma taksonomiskais un funkcionālais raksturojums"

Neattīrīti notekūdeņi ir ķīmiski un bioloģiski kompleksa vide, taču tā mikrobioloģiskais sastāvs līdz šim ir maz pētīts. Izmantojot šobrīd pieejamās sekvencēšanas un bioinformātikas tehnoloģijas, ir iespējams raksturot notekūdeņu mikroorganismu kopienas sastāvu dažādos līmeņos. Bakalaura darba mērķis bija taksonomiski un funkcionāli raksturot 15 Latvijas pilsētu notekūdeņu metagenomus. DNS tika izdalīta no neattīrītu, 24 h periodā ievāktu koncentrētu notekūdeņu paraugiem, un tai, izmantojot lielapjoma paralēlo sekvencēšanu, tika veikta visa metagenoma analīze. Datu analīzes rezultātā tika noskaidrots, ka pilsētu notekūdeņu metagenomos ir saskatāmas līdzības sugu, ģints, tipa un gēnu līmeņos…
La inserción laboral de los inmigrantes italianos en Valencia durante la crisis

España ha pasado de una fase de intensa inmigración internacional durante el período de crecimiento económico a otra de re-emigración y retornos de extranjeros (y de emigración de nativos) durante la recesión. En nuestra investigación hemos observado una tendencia opuesta: durante la crisis se ha incrementado significativamente la llegada de inmigrantes procedentes de Italia a la ciudad de Valencia. Se trata de personas económicamente activas, con intención de permanencia, cualificadas y procedentes de regiones con indicadores socioeconómicos superiores a los de la Comunidad Valenciana. Comparison of the contractile effects of endothelin-1 and sarafotoxin S6b in goat isolated cerebral arteries

The effects of endothelium-derived endothelin-1 and snake venom-derived sarafotoxin S6b, peptides with striking structural and functional similarities, were examined and compared in isolated middle cerebral arteries of goats. 2. Endothelin-1 and sarafotoxin S6b contracted cerebral arteries in a concentration-dependent manner. The potency of endothelin-1 (EC50 = 4.9 (3.9-6.2) x 10(-10) M) was about ten times higher than that of sarafotoxin S6b (EC50 = 5.5 (4.4-6.9) x 10(-9) M). The tension returned to basal values after repeated washings and contraction with endothelin-1 could be reproduced. Differential blockade by nifedipine and ω-conotoxin GVIA of α1- and β1-adrenoceptor-controlled calcium channels on motor nerve terminals of the rat

Electrically evoked release of [3H]acetylcholine ([3H]ACh) from the rat phrenic nerve and its facilitation by stimulation of presynaptic alpha 1- and beta 1-adrenoceptors were investigated in the absence and presence of nifedipine and omega-conotoxin GVIA. Both calcium channel antagonists did not modify electrically evoked [3H]ACh release, but selectively blocked the effect triggered by both facilitatory adrenergic receptors. The increase in [3H]ACh release mediated via beta 1-adrenoceptor activation was abolished by low concentrations (1 nM) of omega-conotoxin GVIA, whereas nifedipine (100 nM) abolished the facilitatory effect mediated via alpha 1-adrenoceptor stimulation. Antidiabētiskā medikamenta metformīna izraisītās funkcionālās izmaiņas cilvēka zarnu mikrobiomā

Metformīns ir antidiabētisks medikaments, kas samazina glikozes līmeni asinīs un nerada hipoglikēmiju, tomēr ~25% pacientu attīstās gastrointestinālas blaknes. Ir veikti pētījumi par metformīna terapijas ietekmi uz 2. tipa cukura diabēta pacientu zarnu mikrobiomu, tomēr pilnīga metformīna un zarnu mikrobioma mijiedarbības raksturojuma joprojām nav. Darba mērķis bija noskaidrot, kā metformīns ietekmē vesela cilvēka zarnu mikrobioma taksonomisko un funkcionālo profilu. Les stéréotypes nominaux et la combinatoire lexicale

In this article, we are interested in the stereotypes associated with the names of substances and natural phenomena. We try to demonstrate, through their lexical combinatory, that the semantic representation of these names is constituted of the denotative meaning, built on the basis of a knowledge, and the stereotype, i.e. the conventional ideas on the appearance and the nature of the denoted objects.
Periodisko orbītu eksistence diskrētās dinamiskās sistēmās

Bakalaura darbā apskatīti diskrētu dinamisku sistēmu pamatjēdzieni, akcentējot periodisko punktu eksistenci un to meklēšanu. Ar piemēriem parādīts, kā noskaidrot autonoma pirmās kārtas diferenču vienādojuma periodiskos punktus ar periodu 2 un 3. Darba lielākā daļa veltīta neautonomu pirmās kārtas diferenču vienādojumu periodisko punktu jeb ģeometrisko r-ciklu eksistencei, kur vienādojuma periodiskos koeficientus veido polinomi vai racionālas funkcijas.
