Intervention publique et déploiement la télémédecine : une analyse par les théories de l'innovation

2019

Telemedicine is a health sector innovation which implies remote management of patient, future will tell if this innovation is a revolution for geographical healthcare access. In this perspective but despite or because of spontaneous telemedicine uses which have not spread, public authorities launched in France, in 2011, a national strategy to support the spread of telemedicine. In this context, this thesis analyzes complex interactions between public intervention and the diffusion process of telemedicine by using the theories of innovation diffusion. We built a framework for innovation diffusion of complex innovations such as telemedicine and identify three levers for diffusion that public …

New Innovation Identification Approach Development Matrix

2018

Innovations have become one of the contemporary economics key driving forces behind competitive advantages and have become socioeconomic category of their own. Diffusion of innovations, which is an integral part of the scientific and technological base of national economies, promotes structural changes in economy. Companies have to pay close attention to market trends and have to be able to identify and create new innovations, thus increasing their competitiveness and meeting consumer demands and expectations. The objective of this research is to evaluate the concept of different innovations in organizations and propose a complex approach to identifying innovations in the form of a matrix t…

Innovations sociales et création de valeur partagée au sein des entreprises

2017

This work focuses on social innovations that are likely to create shared value, that is, to seek commercial success that has the potential to generate benefits for the society. This shared value deals with the wellbeing of low-income consumers and poor people. These innovations are also a lever to reduce the pressures that can be exerted by stakeholders in the social-political sphere (regulatory authorities and soft power), if the company does not reduce the negative externalities produced by its activities.

Monnaie endogène, refinancement bancaire et offre de crédit

1993

Post Keynesians have developped the view that credit availability is fundamentally determined by demand-side pressures. However, two aproaches o f money supply endogeneity are here distinguished : full and partial accommodation by central banks of reserve needs arising from bank lending. In the first case, central banks only set the supply price but not the supply quantity of reserves, in the second they can and do control reserve quantities. We examine the major implications of these theories on short term interest rates determination, management practices (particularly liability management) of commercial banks, financial innovations and quantity rationing by banks. We try to show that bot…

The adoption of photovoltaic micro production systems in Finland

2016

A sustainable supply of energy is one of the most important requirements in order to achieve sustainable development. By using renewable resources society is not dependent on depleting reserves, but instead can have an inexhaustible source of clean energy. The rapid development of photovoltaics has led to lowered prices and increased efficiency making them more attractive alternative as a source of household electricity. Although governments play a key role in setting the constraints of how renewable energy is adopted, the wide-spread adoption of distributed electricity production ultimately depends on consumer decisions to buy them. This study examined the adoption process of photovoltaic …

Bibliometric analysis of the international literature on open innovation and absorptive capacity

2016

The Continued Innovation-Decision Process : A Case Study of Continued Adoption of Robotic Process Automation

2022

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) originally entered the field of information systems as one of those disruptive innovations that will, among other automation solutions, have a profound effect on job descriptions and work itself in near future. One of the sectors that will be revolutionized – and are in fact already changing – are financial and human resource (HR) services, such as accounting, billing, and payroll services. According to statistics, Finnish companies operating on the administrative and support services sector make little use of service robots. Companies that have initially adopted the technology do not necessary reach its full potential. We explore what factors create challen…

Configurations of the Interactive Use of Environmental Management Control

2013

This paper explores the use of interactive environmental management control. In order to do this, a theoretical model is designed drawing on the framework of Simons (1995) and instrumental stakeholder theory. This model defines three dimensions of interactive control: forms of interactivity (vertical, horizontal, external), frequencies of interactivity (high, medium, low) and decision levels (strategic, tactical, operational). Four typical configurations emerge from application of the model to empirical data from ten case studies: eco-designers, eco-institutionals, eco-managers and eco-educators. These configurations show the diverse roles of interactive environmental management control in …
