L'ordinamento giudiziario. Ciclo di seminari (Palermo, marzo-maggio, 2018)

2019

Even in their unity, the issues addressed can ideally be divided into two thematic areas: the first aims to provide a general view of the system; the second is dedicated to the analysis of specialized sections and the honorary judiciary. Customer Relationships Management in Organizations

2013

Abstract In recent years, the market for on-demand CRM applications suffered especially in the segment of small and medium companies because of the concerns about the cost and the complexity of on request implementations. CRM on demand is a good choice for companies that want to implement standard processes that can use data structures “out of box” with little or not at all internal IT support and does not require complex or real-time integration with back office systems. However, on-demand CRM software is not always as simple as vendors want us to believe. Customizing can be problematic and interface tools of CRM vendors can not provide desired levels of integration. Implementing a hosted …

2014

Abstract This paper investigates the relations between female leadership, firm performance, and corporate governance in a global panel of 329 Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) in 73 countries covering the years 1998–2008. The microfinance industry is particularly suited for studying the impact of female leadership on governance and performance because of its mission orientation, its entrepreneurial nature, diverse institutional conditions, and high percentage of female leaders. We find female leadership to be significantly associated with larger boards, younger firms, a non-commercial legal status, and more female clientele. Furthermore, we find that a female chief executive officer and a fe…

Framed within the temporal borders of the Franco’s dictatorship, the study investigates the translation techniques used by Ana M.ª de la Fuente when translating violence against women in the discourse of this contemporary Western. The use of violence was one of the censorship criteria followed by the government’s offi…
