La scolarisation à Djibouti

2011

Heavy Flavor Production and Decay With Prompt Leptons In the Aleph Detector

1994

In 431 000 hadronicZ decays recorded with the ALEPH detector at LEP, the yields of electrons and muons in events with one or more prompt leptons have been analysed to give information on the production and decay of heavy quarks. The fractions of $$b\bar b$$ and $$c\bar c$$ events are measured to be 0.219±0.006±0.005 and 0.165±0.005±0.020, and the corresponding forward-backward asymmetries at theZ mass are measured to be 0.090±0.013±0.003 and 0.111±0.021±0.018, after QED and QCD corrections. Measurements for the semileptonic branching ratios BR $$(b \to \ell ^ - \bar vX)$$ and BR (b→cl+ vX) yield 0.114±0.003±0.004 and 0.082±0.003±0.012, respectively. The dilepton events enable measurement of…

2011

The aim of that thesis is to bring a micro level contribution to the economics of innovation when using original datasets on the French case. Here the manuscript is structured in three chapters: the labour market of scientists and engineers, the incentives for innovation in the private sector and the existence of spatial spillovers in the school to work transition for graduates in science and engineering (S & I). In the first chapter of this thesis, we focus on the labour market for scientists and engineers. First, we identify the different characteristics of this labour market. We then analyze the determinants of access to R & D for young graduates in S & I. Finally, we question more broad…

SUCCESSFUL ORGANISATIONAL MODELS IN THE GREEK WINE INDUSTRY

2018

The objective of this paper is dual. The first is to identify the key factors that characterize the most successful organizational models of firms operating in the Greek wine industry. The second is to verify if the adoption of third party certifications influences the firms performance. In particular, paying attention on the internal resources of firms, the Resource based view approach is proposed as theoretical framework. Through a cluster analysis has been possible gather the wineries observed on the basis of a similar organisational model, while a non parametric test has been used in order to verify the influence of voluntary certifications on firm performance. Findings show that the mo…

The Recruitment of Researchers and the Organization of Scientific Activity in Industry

2001

International audience; In the light of supposed increasing demand for science by companies, the relative difficulties in many countries of recent science PhD graduates in finding employment in companies seem to represent a paradox. We can wonde what are the factors that tend to limit the entry of PhD graduates into companies. This article looks at the recruitment and the careers of researchers in industry (emphasizing the first aspect) using original surveys carried out in companies, in France, Spain and the UK. The comparison of the case studies carried out in the three countries mentioned above should enable a better understanding of the functions filled by R&D activities within companie…

Orientation et réussite dans les filières scientifiques

1995

Prevention of occupational injuries moral hazard and complex agency relationship

2001

This paper exploits the results of agency theory with the aim of contributing a new viewpoint and a form for analysis of the current functioning of the occupational injury and disease section of the Social Security system in its mission of providing incentives for prevention. After outlining the organization and specific features of insurance against occupational risks, an initial level of analysis highlights the presence of moral hazard in relations between insurer and company and between company and employee. A second level of analysis and resort to complex agency relationship models, multitask model and third-party model, is necessary to take into account the consequences for occupationa…
