The reactions of phenylaminobis(phosphonite), PhN{P(OC6H4OMe-o)2}2 (1) (PNP), with [AuCl(SMe2)] in appropriate ratios, afford the bi- and mononuclear complexes, [(AuCl)2(µ-PNP)] (2) and [(AuCl)(PNP)]2 (3) in good yield. Treatment of 2 with 2 equiv of AgX (X = OTf or ClO4) followed by the addition of 1 or 2,2′-bipyridine affords [Au2(µ-PNP)2](OTf)2 (4) and [Au2(C10H8N2)2(µ-PNP)](ClO4)2 (5), respectively. Similarly, the macrocycles [Au4(C4H4N2)2(µ-PNP)2](ClO4)4 (6), [Au4(C10H8N2)2(µ-PNP)2](ClO4)4 (7), and [Au6(C3H3N3)2(µ-PNP)3](ClO4)6 (8) are obtained by treating 2 with pyrazine, 4,4′-bipyridine, or 1,3,5-triazine in the presence of AgClO4. The institution of the Real Audiencia in the kingdom of Sardinia since the 1560s is part of a wider process which saw the rise and development of royal supreme courts of justice in several European countries of the early modern period. In fact, major State formation processes all around Europe required that monarchs increased their control on local authorities and that new increasingly centralised systems of judicial review gained precedence over all particular jurisdictions, feudal as well as municipal. This brought about a dramatic transformation in the field of criminal law enforcement and administration of justice.

Inverse problems and invisibility cloaking for FEM models and resistor networks

In this paper we consider inverse problems for resistor networks and for models obtained via the finite element method (FEM) for the conductivity equation. These correspond to discrete versions of the inverse conductivity problem of Calderón. We characterize FEM models corresponding to a given triangulation of the domain that are equivalent to certain resistor networks, and apply the results to study nonuniqueness of the discrete inverse problem. It turns out that the degree of nonuniqueness for the discrete problem is larger than the one for the partial differential equation. Background: Observation of asymmetric fission of 180Hg has led to intensive theoretical and experimental studies of fission of neutron-deficient nuclei in the lead region. Purpose: The study of asymmetric and symmetric fission modes of 180,190Hg and 184,192,202Pb nuclei. Methods: Mass-energy distributions of fission fragments of 180,190Hg and 184Pb formed in the 36Ar+144,154Sm and 40Ca+144Sm reactions, respectively, at energies near the Coulomb barrier have been measured using the double-arm time-of-flight spectrometer CORSET and compared with previously measured 192,202Pb isotopes produced in the 48Ca+144,154Sm reactions. Runāšana ir viena no svarīgākām prasmēm, kas ir jāattīsta, angļu valodas, ka svešvalodas, mācīšanās laikā. Bieži, laika ierobežojuma dēļ, klasē skolēniem ir maz iespēju pielietot savas mutvārdu saziņas prasmes. Turklāt, daži skolēnu nejutās pietiekoši pašpārliecināti, lai runātu angļu valodā stundu laikā. Diplomdarba mērķis bija izpētīt, vai apgrieztā mācības metode var sekmēt skolēnu angļu valodas runāšanas prasmju pilnveidei. Par pētniecības metodi tika izvēlēta gadījuma izpētē. Las perturbaciones externas en la economía española tras la integración: ¿tamaño del shock o grado de respuesta?

El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar si ha aumentado la influencia de los shocks europeos en el ciclo económico español tras el proceso de integración en Europa. Se estudia si los cambios observados se deben a un cambio en la magnitud relativa de los shocks (estadounidenses, europeos e internos) y/o a cambios en el grado de respuesta. Los resultados muestran que los efectos de un shock europeo han aumentado: un shock del mismo tamaño afectaría hoy más a la economía española de lo que lo hacía en los setenta, mientras que un shock interno provocaría hoy una respuesta sustancialmente menor.
