Lentinulas edodes ekstrakta ietekme uz Drosophila melanogaster kāpuru ūdeņraža peroksīda stresa rezistenci

Darbā pētīta šitakē sēnes karsta ūdens ekstrakta aktivitāte ūdeņraža peroksīda izraisīta stresa gadījumā, kā modeļorganismu izmantojot - augļu mušu. Pētījumā drozofilu kāpuri audzēti barotnēs ar šitakē sēnes karsta ūdens ekstrakta piedevu, kur etanola izgulsnējamās frakcijas sausnes daudzumu sastādīja – 0,000%, 0,001%, 0,003%, 0,007%, 0,015%, 0,030%, 0,060% un 0,100% no tilpuma. No barotnes atdalīti L3 stadijas kāpuri, kas 24 stundas pakļauti 50mM ūdeņraža peroksīdam. Novērotas ūdeņraža peroksīda izraisītas izmaiņas apskatītajos parametros – samazināts mutes orgāna kustību skaits, redzami zarnu traktu bojājumi, palielināta superoksīda dismutāzes aktivitāte, samazināta izdzīvotība līdz kūniņ…

Signe Vadone (2019): Ganoderma lucidum 9621 ārpusšūnu ligninolītisko enzīmu aktivitātes noteikšana. Darbā noteikta un salīdzināta G. lucidum 9621 lakāzes un peroksidāžu aktivitāte četru dažādu piedevu šķidrajās barotnēs – ½ MEB(+ Mn2+; + 2% Lg; + 2% Lg + Mn2+). Veikta kvantitatīva ligninolītisko enzīmu aktivitātes noteikšana, izmantojot spektrofotometrijas metodes. Darbā tika salīdzināta dažādu glabāšanas apstākļu (+4˚C, -20˚C un liofilizācijas) ietekme uz G. lucidum 9621 ligninolītisko enzīmu aktivitāti un inkubācijas beigās noteikta sēņu micēlija biomasa. Up to now, the ability of ThB to interfere with lipid metabolism was studied in mice fed a routinely laboratory chow enriched or not with the synthetic agonist Wy14,643, a pharmacological activator of the nuclear hormone receptor PPARα. The design of innovative proton conductors for intermediate-temperature fuel cells, closing the gap between PEMFC and SOFC, is a forefront research theme in materials chemistry. Abstract Background The interconversion of two important energy metabolites, 3-hydroxybutyrate and acetoacetate (the major ketone bodies), is catalyzed by D-3-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase (BDH1: EC 1.1.1.30), a NAD+-dependent enzyme. The eukaryotic enzyme is bound to the mitochondrial inner membrane and harbors a unique lecithin-dependent activity. Here, we report an advanced purification method of the mammalian BDH applied to the liver enzyme from jerboa (Jaculus orientalis), a hibernating rodent adapted to extreme diet and environmental conditions. Abstract. The objective of this investigation was to study the use of a new type of a low-weight unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) imaging system in the precision agriculture. The system consists of a novel Fabry-Perot interferometer based hyperspectral camera and a high-resolution small-format consumer camera. The sensors provide stereoscopic imagery in a 2D frame-format and they both weigh less than 500 g. Chlamydia trachomatis (CT) infection is one of the most common causes of reproductive tract diseases and infertility. CT-Hsp60 is synthesized during infection and is released in the bloodstream. As a consequence, immune cells will produce anti-CT-Hsp60 antibodies. Hsp60, a ubiquitous and evolutionarily conserved chaperonin, is normally sequestered inside the cell, particularly into mitochondria.
