Postbuckling analysis of cracked stiffned plates by pb–2 Rayleigh-Ritz method

A Rayleigh-Ritz approach for the analysis of buckling and post-buckling behavior of cracked composite stiffened plates is presented. The structure is thought as the assembly of plate elements modeled by the first order shear deformation theory. Continuity along the edges common to contiguous elements are enforced by using penalty techniques, which also allow to straightforwardly implement efficient crack modeling strategies. General symmetric and unsymmetric stacking sequences are considered and numerical procedures have been developed and used to validate the present solution by comparison with FEA results. Presence of endophytic bacteria in Vitis vinifera leaves as detected by Fluorescence in situ hybridization

Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) in combination with confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) was applied to detect and localize bacterial colonies in leaf tissues of Vitis vinifera. Leaves were cleared to minimize the autofluorescence of plant fragments. The use of fluorescently labeled bacterial probe EUB338 on discolored grapevine leaf disks allowed the estimation of the spatial distribution of different bacterial colonies. In particular, bacterial colonies were found in veins, cells, hairs, intercellular spaces, and in cut edges of leaf disks of both non-Acremonium byssoides-colonized and A. byssoides-colonized leaves of five different cultivars. Con este trabajo se pretende aportar nuevas referencias documentales de la platería valenciana en la ejecución de cruces procesionales, Lignum Crucis u otras modalidades de cruces realizadas por plateros valencianos del siglo XVI. Así, podemos comprobar el gran auge adquirido por el centro platero de Valencia durante esta centuria, en concreto en la contratación de cruces, que fueron realizadas para las diversas parroquias de la ciudad y para otras localidades, tanto del Reino de Valencia, como de otros reinos, por los más afamados plateros del momento. The title compound, poly[triaquabis[μ4-N,N′-(1,3,5-oxadiazinane-3,5-diyl)bis(carbamoylmethanoato)]dinickel(II)tetrapotassium], [K4Ni2(C7H6N4O7)2(H2O)3] n , is a second solvatomorph of poly[(μ4-N,N′-(1,3,5-oxadiazinane-3,5-diyl)bis(carbamoylmethanoato)nickel(II)dipotassium] reported previously [Plutenko et al. En la presente Tesis Doctoral se aborda el tema general de la romanización de los pueblos ibéricos en la fachada mediterránea peninsular a partir del caso concreto del territorio de una ciudad ibérica, Kelin – Los Villares (Caudete de las Fuentes, València). Dicha ciudad, ocupada entre los siglos VII-I a.C., sabemos que al menos desde el s. V a.C. organizó un territorio a su alrededor, con unos límites muy similares a los de la actual comarca de Requena-Utiel. Time-domain effective-one-body gravitational waveforms for coalescing compact binaries with nonprecessing spins, tides and self-spin effects

We present TEOBResumS, a new effective-one-body (EOB) waveform model for nonprecessing (spin-aligned) and tidally interacting compact binaries.Spin-orbit and spin-spin effects are blended together by making use of the concept of centrifugal EOB radius. The point-mass sector through merger and ringdown is informed by numerical relativity (NR) simulations of binary black holes (BBH) computed with the SpEC and BAM codes. A better understanding of the water and energy cycles at climate scale in the Third Pole Environment is essential for assessing and understanding the causes of changes in the cryosphere and hydrosphere in relation to changes of plateau atmosphere in the Asian monsoon system and for predicting the possible changes in water resources in South and East Asia.
