Playing in Preschool Mathematics Education during SARS-CoV-2 pandemic: a phenomenological study with Italian teachers

This paper discusses the results coming from a phenomenological study implemented with a sample of 110 Italian preschool teachers about the impact of the Covid-19 on preschool education. We investigate in which way the related pandemic phenomenon changed and is still changing the preschool pedagogical/didactic scenario about Mathematics playing. Through a questionnaire we qualitatively analyze and classify teachers’ argumentations highlighting their teaching approaches, their attitudes, their expectations in playing Mathematics in Preschool Education.

One of them encodes a putative extracellular matrix (ECM) protein, named Tenebrin. Indeed, the deduced protein sequence contains ECM typical features like the presence of a signal peptide, internal repeats, a RGD tripeptide sequence motif known to bind integrins and von Willebrand factor type c domains involved in protein-protein interactions. The sequential assessment game has often been used to investigate contests, while honest signalling theory has received much less attention. Humans tend to perceive inanimate objects as animate based on simple motion cues. So far this perceptual bias has been studied mostly in humans by utilizing two-dimensional video and interactive displays. Considering its importance for survival, the perception of animacy is probably also widespread among animals, however two-dimensional displays are not necessarily the best approach to study the phenomenon in non-human species. We reflect on family therapy and its history from two points of view, as an entity that becomes understood with the help of a twofold concept of a game, and a twofold concept of liberty. Systemic family therapy has always been comprehended with the help of game theory. Its development becomes more properly understood if we keep in mind that game itself is a dualistic concept entailing both a cultural and a logico-mathematical interpretation of a game.
