Arte da Linguagem na Era da Panofonia

2018

This article calls attention to the hybrid genre of voice-based performances and its blending of the supposed binaries of human and machinic speech. Using the concept of panophonia, the author refers to the animatronic sculptures of speaking figures created by Ken Feingold and to Mark Böhlen’s talking robots. Through their comparative analysis, the author explores different poetic metalanguages both artists create to deconstruct communicative structures that demarcate post-human era.

Sentence-Level Effects of Literary Genre: Behavioral and Electrophysiological Evidence

2017

The current study used event-related brain potentials (ERPs) and behavioral measures to examine effects of genre awareness on sentence processing and evaluation. We hypothesized that genre awareness modulates effects of genre-typical manipulations. We manipulated instructions between participants, either specifying a genre (poetry) or not (neutral). Sentences contained genre-typical variations of semantic congruency (congruent/incongruent) and morpho-phonological features (archaic/contemporary inflections). Offline ratings of meaningfulness (n = 64/group) showed higher average ratings for semantically incongruent sentences in the poetry vs. neutral condition. ERPs during sentence reading (n…

The Neglected Poetry. The Study of a Legacy: the Poetry written by the XV International Brigade and by the Supporters of the Spanish Republic

2016

I have always been passing by instinctively throughout the art field. I did not use a cartography there as I am doing while writing this thoughts. I would not have been able to face them up if I had not reread my own poetry books, having a pen and a paper by my side. This rereading has provided me novelties and, also, some surprises.

Colori dell'eros nelle Grecia antica

2020

2017

A typical mentor-moralizer in Porazińska's poetry is almost nonexistent. Instead, the reader finds a mentor-storyteller, a childs friend, whose omniscience serves to articulate the childs fate, which is particularly visible in realist poems. A creation of the mentor is determined by the genre. In lullabies and berceuse poems, the mentor is a tender caretaker; in fables the mentor instructs directly, using a touch of humor, or through a simple plot with a dominant feature and pure nonsense; in educational poems the mentor is hidden behind descriptions and storytelling; in jokes, portraits, and anecdotes the mentor uses short stories, etc. In all the presented forms the mentor has effective t…

Primārās un sekundārās modelēšanas sistēmas dzejas tekstos: Mihaila Lotmana teorētiskās pieejas piemērošana

2016

Selected Poems of Dorothy Livesay: a Collective or a Private Record?

2012
