Although hydrodistillation, steam distillation and solvent extraction are the most applied methods, several non‐conventional technologies have been evaluated, especially in respect to EO recovery, and a great potential has been attributed to these non‐conventional methods. Ekspertu iesaistīšanās starptautiskajā šķīrējtiesas procesā ir ierasta prakse. Lai arī visbiežāk strīda pusēm pēc savas izvēles pieaicinot ekspertus, nepastāv vienota pieeja tam, kādas prasības ir izvirzāmas pušu pieaicinātiem ekspertiem šķīrējtiesas procesā. Tāpat ir neskaidrs jautājums par pušu pieaicinātu ekspertu noraidīšanu jeb izslēgšanu no šķīrējtiesas procesa, kaut arī nereti šādi noraidījumi tiek pieteikti. Autora mērķis ir ierosināt uzlabojumus esošajam regulējumam saistībā ar pušu pieaicinātu ekspertiem starptautiskajā šķīrējtiesas procesā, analizējot dažādu šķīrējtiesu reglamentus, praksi, kā arī tiesību doktrīnu.
Synthesis and Antitumor Evaluation of Menthone-Derived Pyrimidine-Urea Compounds as Potential PI3K/Akt/mTOR Signaling Pathway Inhibitor.

A series of novel menthone derivatives bearing pyrimidine and urea moieties was designed and synthesized to explore more potent natural product-derived antitumor agents. The structures of the target compounds were confirmed by FTIR, NMR, and HRMS. The in vitro antitumor activity was tested by standard methyl thiazolytetrazolium assay and showed that 4i, 4g, 4s, and 4m are the best compounds with IC50 values of 6.04 ± 0.62µM, 3.21 ± 0.67µM, 19.09 ± 0.49µM, and 18.68 ± 1.53µM, against Hela, MGC-803, MCF-7, and A549, respectively. Longitudinal associations between teacher-child interactions and academic skills in elementary school

This study examined the extent to which the quality of teacher-child interactions assessed in kindergarten (6-year-olds) is associated with children's reading and math development across the elementary school years. The sample consisted of 515 Finnish children (271 boys, 244 girls). Teacher-child interactions were observed in 49 kindergarten classrooms. The findings from the latent growth curve models showed that high-quality teacher–child interactions in kindergarten were positively associated with the initial levels of reading and math skills. Darba ietvaros analizētas būtiskākās administratīvo aktu aviācijas drošuma jomā īpatnības, kā arī vērtēti pārrobežu administratīvo aktu atzīšanas teorētiskie aspekti un īpatnības pārrobežu administratīvo aktu atzīšanā aviacijas drošuma jomā.
